Israel does a lot of the dirty work in the Region so the US doesn't have to get its hands dirty. It's worth it considering the amount of casualties it saves.

Don't tell them that. None of these people think we should have allies.

National Review has a long consistent track record of supporting military aid to Israel. I do not support that policy. They’ve lured us into too many conflicts that aren’t ours to fight. I also strongly disagree that AIPAC should be the only country who doesn’t have to follow FARA laws. (Foreign lobbying restrictions)

I don't doubt that they have good intel but the problem is that they lie. W was naive to not see that Ahmed Chalabi and his Iraqi National Congress were Mossad creations from top to bottom but that doesn't let Israel off the hook for tricking him into an invasion that only served their interests and was detrimental to everyone else.
And just how many US sailors is Israel allowed to deliberately murder before it becomes an unacceptable number? The French intercepted the radio transmissions. There is no shred of doubt that both the pilots and ground control knew the USS Liberty was an American ship. There is no honest dispute on that point.

I don’t know how you can interpret that article any other way. This relationship with Israel wouldn’t be necessary if the neocon global-homos at the National Review advising our government and directing GOP policy for the last 40+ years thought Americans were capable of doing the job.
I’ll say it: Americans are not capable of making the breathtaking innovations that are made in America each year. A radically disproportionate amount of those innovations and great new business startups are made by immigrants.
quote:
Immigrants have won a significant share of U.S. Nobel Prizes, particularly in sciences like Chemistry, Medicine, and Physics, accounting for around 36-40% of American wins in these fields since 2000
One of the reasons for American exceptionalism is that we attract the best and brightest from around the world. A sane immigration policy would ramp up the number of those while stamping down the number of low skilled laborers.

The amazing thing about this is that National Review is still in business. Those bozos that write for NR have to be secretly funded somehow. There is no way even a low functioning adult could read and take someone like Rich Lowry seriously.

What conflicts have they lured us into? Come on, girlfriend, which ones?
Desert Storm? Bush was kicking Saddam out of Kuwait, period. Israel had nothing to do with it and Israel in fact stood down when Saddam launched scuds on them.
Iraq? HA! Bush and Cheney were dead set on removing Saddam. Israel had nothing to do with that one either.

Israel is great for the USA.
They are doing a great job of cleaning up the middle east. Taking care of a lot of problems we are too weak/unwilling to take care of.
I hope they continue.

Have you ever done any research on the Clean Break Policy? Way back in 1996? There is only one country left of the 7- Iran!

I don’t want to fight anyone period if we can avoid it but they’re strategic partners with China due to our globalist state department pushing them into their arms so anything they learn ends up in Beijing and China damn sure is a strategic threat in every sense of the word.
