Nashville was the shite 20 years ago, but the influx of Gays, Hollywood, and Leftist Millennials has ruined it. Williamson is expensive, but blows Davidson Cty out of the water.

See ya middle class!

These policies ALWAYS have the exact same impact in every city. Its a proven formula.

Here's what the population will consist of: Upper and upper Middle Class whites who send their kids to private schools,Gay couples, single millennials, white couples with no kids (mostly libs) and then very poor people. The public schools will then turn to shite even though you'll invest a fortune in them. Same thing happened in NYC,LA,DC,ATL or any other number of big cities...these people NEVER learn.

It drives out both white and black middle class families.

Sad, because I love Nashville.

What are the values of each house?

A lot of our great Southern cities have become victims of progressive movements and it’s sickening.

You should see what property taxes are inside the Atlanta city limits. The street that I grew up on is now one of the more desirable parts of the city.

I couldn't afford my property taxes any longer (I bought in the west midtown area in the late 90's) so moved out to the semi
burbs (N Decatur)and most my neighbors still send their kids to private schools

Wtf is wrong with Nashville and Liberals

Thought baws lived there?

no income tax or something?

It’s definitely becoming more and more liberal, but just for comparison, Nashville property taxes even with the 34% increase are about 25% less than Houston.

Most white conservatives live in Williamson Co like me.

Same. 34% increase? We are seeing that it is and never will be enough.

Remember that this is “necessary” because they shut down the city.

All the baws live in Williamson (like me), Wilson, and Sumner counties. Our property values will just continue to grow up as the remaining sane folks from the city try to move to the burbs.

High 600s/low 700s. For comparison, a 5,000+ square foot house on 25 acres in Gwinnett valued at 1.25 million pays $9,351.91.

We looked at building on land in Candler Park that had been in my family since the 40s. To get a nice, maybe 3,000 sqft house would have been over 500k to build, plus the cost of tree removal, plus property taxes well over 10k.

We built in northeast Gwinnett, larger house, for less money, and about half that in taxes.

The leftists who ruined their own metros fled to Nashville for lower taxes and cost of living. Then they push for the same politics they fled from. It’s what scares me for Alabama. We have low taxes, beach access and beautiful scenery...and are thankfully low on leftists. But the same idiots who cheered while their cities burned will flee those areas and bring g their ideological disease with them...hopefully somewhere other than here.

Lived, past tense. Nashville is overflooded with liberal transplants now. “Baws” are moving to Williamson County

Fulton County in general is high, meanwhile we may consider moving to Cobb in a few years when we look to get a larger house.

The leftists who ruin concentrated blue voting areas are not as dumb as it appears. They wish to disperse their voters into red voting areas.

Ridiculously high taxes chase Karens and soyboy homeowners into conservative strongholds.
Non property tax paying urban resident stay put. Win-win for Democrats.

Just sold my home in Nashville. So glad to be leaving. My taxes would be going up $894 annually.

Bought 35 acres in the country with a bigger house. I'm saving >$1600 per year.

One of the provisions calls for $230k to hire a Chief Diversity Officer.
