They are just trying to get rid of renters.

The Beacon Center of Tennessee says monthly rents could go up as much as 40% in Nashville to compensate for the extra cost.

Are you part of Abby Kamin’s district?

As a Nashville resident, the entertainment industry, arrivals from Cali, Michigan, & the northeast have unfortunately turned this into a very liberal city. The former mayor, Megan Barry, was a catastrophe. She is originally from California & was the darling of the regressive (as I call them) left. Barry had no fiscal acumen and continued to gift wealthy developers with money that her predecessor, Karl Dean championed.
The only good thing about the current mayor is that he would block any attempt to turn this into a sanctuary city. My taxes are set to go up around $100 a month. I look forward to selling my place soon & move to Williamson County (Brentwood, Franklin, or Thompson's Station).

Yep. That lying, cowardly bitch is public enemy #1.
Gives interviews saying "I do not support commercial buildings on the 100 year flood plane" and then votes to approve the mixed income housing developments, which one is across the street from my house and is ON the 100 year flood plane.
frick Abby Kamin. frick Anna Eastman. Vote against both of them next time. They are both weasely little liars.
Finally, frick Beto and the blue no matter who dipshits who are ruining Houston and Harris County as a whole.
Yes, I am mad af.

That’s when the libs who cheer this on begin yelling and screaming how capitalism is making their rent go up. Then they will move to Brentwood, Franklin, Cool Springs, and Murfreesboro to begin the cycle all over again.

Property crime through the roof - what do we need? More section 8 housing. These people don’t give a flying shite about local problems, they’re in office to institute the national agenda.

Yes, it is retarded. There is no thought as to these policies. My hope is that Memorial Hermann swings their big dick and gets it blocked.
The placement of this building just makes zero sense from a real city planning perspective.

Well, it looks like my Marxist nephew from Nashville, who became a centrist when he started making big money is now going to move to extreme right.

Just falling in line with other liberal southern cities.
You should see what property taxes are inside the Atlanta city limits. The street that I grew up on is now one of the more desirable parts of the city.
A 2,858 square foot house built on that street in 2011 is paying 10,058.29 a year in property taxes. A 2,958 square foot house built in 2006 is paying $11,465.38.

It’s how they spread their disease. Kill one area and then move to the next.
