in Gwinnett valued at 1.25 million pays $9,351.91.

In Nashville 1.25 assessed would be about 11,500 with the hike. Sucks, but with no state income tax makes it a wash and you don't have to be a Gwinnecian!

i keed, i keed, Gwinnett is Great, it says so on the water tower!

Someone help me understand. Cities set out with x tax rate. Cities grow. Cities now collect more taxes than before. But then cities always come back and raise tax rate. So they not only get taxes from more people but they get it at a higher rate.

And it’s still never enough.

Because they're catering to rich out-of-state businesses and home owners who can afford it and pushing out the TN natives and local businesses who built the city for it to become a desirable place to live. frick Nashville. Glad I only lived there a year and a half.
