I wonder what’s the bigger motivator to lie about one’s political affiliation on an internet message board: the shame of being a white male Dem or trying to be passed off as conservative for some fake Jennifer Rubin type credibility

I don’t know.
All I know is that even if they appear to be convincing at first, they ultimately can’t help themselves and invariably give themselves away. Every fricking time. And just as invariably they try to keep up the charade because they have a blind spot and just don’t fathom how people can see thru them.

Our whole political discourse is at a low point right now. Trump belittles people left and right, and now Pelosi is doing the same. It’s par for the course. Elected leaders have taken up residency in the gutter because Americans don’t demand otherwise.
