I know some of us don't always agree on everything.... but the fact that there is a "fund" which exists of OUR tax dollars to pay off elected Congressional leaders should in itself warrant a revolution.
If we the people allow this, there's no hope for us. We are responsible for the destruction of this great nation.

They'll probably tell you that it is cheaper to settle these "frivolous" lawsuits than to go to court and spend several thousand dollars to defend them. A civil defendant always requires a settlement agreement that has language that makes it clear there is no admission of liability, and that the terms of the agreement are confidential.
