Close to 90 million people are being repressed and we have a chance to help free them, imo it's worth trying. I remember that the world became a much better place after the wall fell. Just look at all the countries that have their identity back,

The US didn't drop 1 bomb for that to happen. Communism ran its course with 20,000,000 plus dying in the overall process.

We have seen many times the ME countries' culture when a power vacuum is created to know this one would/ will be no different.

Is that we half arse this thing and leave the IRGC wounded but even more devoted to killing Christians and Jews than ever before.

Their particular ideology includes the belief that they are chosen to catalyze Armageddon ….. so they cannot be more devoted to the task of destroying the west.

Start with this question: Considering all the years the debate over Iran’s nuclear ambitions has persisted, why haven’t its strongest allies, China and Russia, ever provided Iran with a nuclear weapon?

Now, before anyone jumps into the nuclear non-proliferation perspective, let me remind you we are not going to pretend things here. You can pretend that Beijing didn’t give the DPRK nuclear weapons by pretending that North Korea isn’t a proxy province of China. Or you can stop pretending. The choice is yours! So, what’s different?

Well, in the DPRK example, Beijing holds the control mechanism. For Iran, giving religious fanatics a nuclear weapon would be tantamount to giving the Muslim Brotherhood the ability to start World War III.

We are on a state of stalemate and we really have no great moves. Even if we have the Strait opened up we still are now Iran's partners . We aren't putting personnel on the ground there. We could continue bombing them but that then leads to continued threats on the Strait. Any deal we make this regime gives advantage to it.

They define success and victory much differently than we in the West expect.....or want to accept.

Persians are not Arabs, you might want to start from that reality. They have a unified culture and history that is as old as any in the West. You are correct, this is a war we did not to be involved with. But extrication is incredibly complicated. We are unable to go to the status quo ante

Is this a new phenomena you are predicting or are you confusing the IRGC with the Israel/Sunni supported states like Syria?

Apparently you CAN be Christian (via born into it or foreigner from another land) but it’s punishable by death to convert to Christianity.

This per a patriot Persian attorney I know. Hope that’s not the case though.

There will be no victory for the US unless there is a regime change without extremists in charge. The Iranian people need to take action to save themselves from these animals.

Jews as well can practice Judaism.

Your ignorance is remarkable. The USA and Great Britain INSTALLED the brutal regime in Iran that lasted from 1953 to 1979, and a big cause of the overthrow of that government was the Shah using secret police to kill any dissidents. This had an inverse effect making the religious zealots more powerful and they overthrew the Shah’s government.

We are doing the EXACT same thing again, driving out a leader to have a “new and better” leader.

Last time we did it for cheaper oil, this time we are doing it because the corrupt Israeli government has a chokehold on our political leaders.
