What a surprise we got at the commencement address.

We were so impressed with Tech. Great education. Conservatives welcomed. What little woke crap that was encountered was in such small numbers it was irrelevant.
Football sucked. Hate she had to endure that.
I’ve been searching Twitter for students reactions. One negative tweet with a reply. The rest are positive.

Good to know there is still a top tier school with some actual 'critical thought' .
I'll keep this one in mind when my kids are that age, and hopefully GT will be over that triple option football by then..

Literally heard Victor Davis Hansen say today that Silicon Valley is now more prone to pass up an ivy league applicant for a Georgia Tech applicant because they know they're just as capable and don't come with the entitlement/woke baggage.

Ivies aren't known for their engineering/tech programs.
Although Princeton has a good engineering program I've heard.
But in general, nobody is going to be turning down a Harvard grad in tech in favor of a GT tech grad. They might interview both but nobody is turning down Ivy League graduates for 'entitlement'.
That's just the power of the brand name.

Georgia tech still has woke tropes like every public university but encouraging words nonetheless. Getting into that school is an accomplishment in and of itself. Congrats to your daughter.
