Musk is considering the merger of Tesla and SpaceX

Good reasons:
They share a lot of services, it could be formally integrated better and more efficiently
Diversify the portfolio of shareholders
The real reason:
Musk owns 80% of SpaceX valued at 2.2 trillion and 20% of Tesla valued at 1.5 trillion. If they merge he would have total control of both companies.
I think its a good idea, it would give them synergies and diversify for the shareholders. Tesla is spewing cash and star link has tremendous upside.
A 3.7 trillion dollar company, somewhere the titans that built America are green with envy.

That was pretty much the plan from the beginning, wasn't it? Musk wants to colonize Mars. You can't use IC engines in a CO2 atmosphere so he's been developing a reliable vehicle powered by a battery and getting people to pay for it while they unwittingly field test his work. The man is a genius at figuring out how to get the public to happily and willingly finance his R&D for getting to Mars.

If you have actually followed this story and understand then you know this is similar to a Ponzi scheme. There’s a reason SpaceX cratered right after IPO.

Oh boy that was a dumb take
SPCX down 1% from IPO.

You think a tesla will work on mars.
Ya'll need to quit gooning to elon and read a book or two.

I was speaking to a SpaceX employee during last weekend's game and he told me the word there was that this was happening (not if, but when).

Then how did they just blow Q3 numbers out of the water
• Revenue: $14.58 billion (up 161% year-over-year compared to $5.6 billion last year, and beating the ~$12.7–$12.8 billion analyst consensus)
• Net Income (GAAP): $4.4 billion (a massive turnaround from a net loss of $1.05 billion in Q3 2025)
• Adjusted EBITDA: $8.81 billion (up 306% year-over-year)
• Operating Income: $2.79 billion to $2.8 billion (rebounding sharply from prior quarters and missing losses)
• Adjusted Earnings Per Share: 45 cents (beating the 13 cents per share forecast)
• Capital Expenditures (Capex): $19.59 billion total ($16.4 billion of which was directed toward Super Intelligence AI compute infrastructure)
• Cash & Marketable Securities: ~I$89.9 billion to $90 billion

Tesla doesn't just make cars. They also make humanoid robots which will operate on Mars in this plan.
You should maybe read the books you are telling others to read.
F@ggot.

Not "gooning" on Elon. Just commenting on observable behavior and trends. I have my doubts about whether it is even remotely possible to colonize Mars. Sure, we could probably get humans to the surface, but getting them back is a whole 'nother issue entirely, since the orbital timing and use of Mars' orbital velocity to aid in acceleration toward the earth is rather problematic.
I've read and studied my fair share of "books" and technical data regarding the idea and the issues faced. I'll leave the Isaac Asimov books to you.

13% of current Tesla revenue is driven by solar products, Powerwall, and Megapack battery storage systems. The Optimus robotics uses the Tesla Full Self Driving systems for robot navigations, etc.
Tesla, SpaceX, Optimus, Super Charging Network, Tesla Electric is all interconnected.

robots will be the infrastructure builders on the moon and mars. No need for humans to be there.

Again, read some books. You are speaking in present tense, they do not make any humanoid robots that operate on mars, they don't make any humanoid robots that operate independently on earth.

I guess that makes Facebook a Ponzi scheme too. What about Meta? Uber? Groupon? Idiot.

The motor would work. The car itself wouldn't.
But the drive train 100% would.

It's telling that you make this post, and when confronted with your own ignorance, ghost the thread. Your post history is also very telling.
