If Elon said people were “stealing” money, I guess you assume it’s true.
If Congress actually wants to do its job under Art. I of the Constitution, Musk should cooperate and appear.

That won't end the way you hope.

Imagine really believing this could be some sort of ‘Got Heem!’

Imagine being so shamelessly happy for this unbridled corruption and waste and so afraid to see it going bye bye.

If they really wanted to talk to him big D they could just...talk to him.
Or if they want to put him under oath and try to trip him up for prosecution do that.

Imagine.. Instead of being mad at the people that are stealing our money and spending it 100% irresponsibly, people are mad at the man who told you that you were being ripped off.

And yet I still see plenty of Dems online who are saying, "I don't trust him, can't believe anything he says, it's all lies"

Magaziner said. “I mean, Congress appropriates money and the president, or his unelected lackeys, don’t have the authority to just withhold money that Congress is appropriating.”

Is this correct??

Congress must authorize monies spent - but they cannot demand that it be spent.

or so I thought -

but certainly they cannot demand the timeline for which it must be spent, can they?

Am I confused in my old age??

I think one day in the future he will testify.

And the people complaining about him not testifying now are going to completely regret when he actually does do it.

Executive branch.

Meaning the branch that executes legislation.

Or doesn’t.

USAID paid for the propaganda that has fooled them into fighting the people taking down USAID.
