As long as 2/3 hold firm, Kavanaugh is in. I think Manchin may have to be the 50th vote in order to save his seat.

If they had spines during the Obama years, they would've kicked her arse out the party in 2010 when she lost the GOP primary but ran a write-in campaign in the general election as an independent.

My guess is that Manchin will vote "Yes" so Murkowski can save her arse in November. Backroom deals.

Murkowski should be politically skinned the day after the midterms. Her "no" had the potential to severely damage the GOP.
