I don't buy Mexican produce. Ever! Not even the organic one. Like they know what organic produce is down there. If there isn't any US or Canadian produce, we do without. And we haven't died yet.

Economics in One Lesson- read it

Basic economics- read it

Or else don’t pretend to know what you are talking about. And if you have already read them, I don’t know what’s wrong with you

Looks like the OP is making full transition to progressivism.

Did China read these lessons?

Which chapters cover IP theft, forced technology transfer or currency manipulation?

Also which book do you think Trump read to help win the election? Surely it was some conventional tome filled with proven and traditional techniques.

Measured inflation related to tariffs –– read it. Or else don’t pretend to know what you are talking about.

We won’t have clean ground to grow produce if you keep littering the place up.

Kind of.

Look up rare Earth elements. If you don't do things China's way, they will restrict the flow of these. Without them, Apple, Boeing, GM etc. don't exist as they do now (if so, then at a clearly diminished level from their current success).

Actually, in order to market domestically, yes, yes they do.

Surely this isn’t a talking point of the media. After Roberts changed the wording of Obamacare from penalty to tax, the media was overwhelmingly overjoyed. That was too a tax on the American consumer.

Works like a sales tax or a value added tax only one doesn't see it on a receipt. Average cost per family of the tariffs already imposed is estimated to be $831 per year.

Market Watch

Of course if tariffs are imposed on imports from Mexico that number will go up.

Aren’t you a Wisconsin labor union democrat?

You do realize major unions support protectionism, right?
