Every President has illegal, backchannel communications with foreign leaders.
Are they illegal though? Not arguing, just would seem odd that they would be specifically illegal.

Everyone is focused on when the meeting occured. Mueller is focused on possible money funneling from the UAE through Nader and why Prince felt the need to lie. Could be nothing. Probably not.

I don’t see how HPSCI can conclude its investigation without at least having Prince come back to the committee under subpoena to supplement his testimony on this. There are also other issues with his testimony that I still think he needs to supplement.

It just doesn't count.

Main gist of article is not the back channel itself, which is not illegal, but that Erik Prince lied
Prepare for another “lying to fbi” charge. No collusion
1. A back channel is not illegal, what may flow through the back channel though.
2. It is curious that they need a back channel during the late stages of the transition. Or really a back channel at all.
3. Eric Prince lied to congress, which would be perjury (if under oath). I would be surprised if Eric Prince has talked to the FBI. He would be a very high profile target for Mueller, and they wouldn't be super likely to interview him until they could nail him to the wall.

An investigation that started 4 months before the election based on information from within the Trump campaign, and led and supervised by Republican appointees?
Nope, it's a cover-up.

I totally should've used that emoticon.

Yes, an investigation that was started for political purposes, because as of this time, there has been nothing but dead ends. Te only damning ting is that PapaD heard from a guy who heard from another that the Russians had some bad stuff on the Hildebeast. In any sane courtroom PapaD would have been escorted out and thrown out of the courtouse....it's hearsay 3 times over

You got tat right except it's a cover up to protect Obama and Comey's asses for spying on a Presidential candidate. Thus far you got Flynn for "lying" about what essentially is about dates. Gates and Manafort for income tax evasion stemming from actions way before Trump was running ( it's a bad income tax case at that) and you have 13 Russians that went online and conducted a mayhem campaign....none were connected to Trump.
Hillary Clinton was a crappy candidate who thought she was going to be coronated as an American Queen on November 9,2016 and something happened on the way to the palace....she found out that absent the tony world's of techdom on the West Coast and the guilt ridden salons of NYC, Boston and Georgetown, not too many of her potential subjects liked her....so they denied her access
That is really what is happening here. Your side lost, stop being such a puss about it...except you can't because you know that the working class people of the US can't stand the Democrats as a whole

Easy, Hoss.
The Flynn indictment contains allegations of number of false statements about the content of his calls (UN resolution, Kislyak's response to the request, the Turkey op-ed, Turkish direction, etc.) And unless you know what evidence the government has, I'm not sure how you can dismiss what they have on Papadop. He and his lawyer sure didn't. The Manafort and Gates case involves conduct before, during, and after their campaign roles.
Your counter-narrative is red hot and all that, but what's in the indictments is in the indictments.
