We must STOP paying people to stay at home and not work.

The real goal of extended shutdowns by the Democrats is to make people permanently dependent on government.

She is correct. Make people dependent and you control them.

Is this happening all over?

Seems like the restaurants here are fully packed and everyone is fully staffed

Maybe that's cause 600 a mnth barely pays your gas bill here

Went to the beach this weekend and every place we went had no help, no bartenders. Trust me their plan is working.

It’s happenings here I live in Atlanta. I’ve never seen so many “We’re hiring” signs. And it’s not just for restaurants. I’ve seen all manner of businesses. Hell I saw 2 waffle houses with hiring signs.

I'd bet there are Help Wanted signs in >40% of the shops I visit.

It goes without saying that these hourly positions aren't that high paying. So the combined state and federal benefits aren't that different from putting in your 40 hours once the government takes out a few taxes. Those suggesting the current benefits policies aren't putting downward pressure on employment are either in denial or simply lying.

She is 100% correct. We can't keep paying people to stay home. This isn't sustainable, and will eventually come back to bite us when prices everywhere increase.

Every service industry location here in St. Louis has hiring signs up. Most of our fast food restaurants are still not open inside. Not because they can’t be. But because they can’t staff a drive-through and the inside. It’s very common to wait twenty to thirty minutes in a drive through.

The new thing will be to pay re-employment. Sort of like the reverse unemployment pay. Watch and see.

I'm not even sure if there any any "added benefits" on top of the Louisiana UE but I have noticed a lot of help wanted signs. Primarily at gas stations but I have noticed them else where. The three gas stations I visit weekly have had these signs up for months now it seems.

There are a lot of restaurants here with stripped down hours and staffs. But, I think Michigan is under a 50% capacity restriction, so that may be part of it. I had no idea until the other day the unemployment is going until September. That's ridiculous.

Lots of restaurant owners are finding it tough to keep staffed these days.

According to wsb’s Eric Erickson, MTG is problematic for the GA GOP. So much so they’re looking at drawing her district out of existence to simply remove her.

I’m against relying on government handouts when you’re capable of working. With that being said, you can’t live off $12/hr today. Instead of blaming others for not taking your shitty job for a wage that’s lower than the cost of living, a restaurant owner should be rolling their sleeves up and doing the work themselves on the front line. Owners aren’t entitled to low wage employees.
