The problem is your typical leftist is both quite stupid and highly gullible. They think they have principles because they have empathy and are “caring” for the downtrodden. And they think the Democrat Party is on the side of the downtrodden because the Democrat Party says they’re for the little guy and those “mean conservatives” are “literally Hitler.”

Therefore, to the typical leftist the Democrat Party is good and the Republican Party is always bad. Doesn’t matter what the Democrat Party actually does or accomplishes, the Democrat Party is good. And since the Democrat Party is always good, to leftists that means the Democrat Party is always right.

The leaders of the Democrat Party know the average leftist will buy whatever they say and support whatever they do, again because of the abject stupidity and high degree of gullibility of the rank and file Democrat Party supporters. All the Democrat Party has to do is utilize its highly effective propaganda wing, namely the mainstream media and education system, to continue to indoctrinate and radicalize their feeble minded leftist base who follow their lead because, to them, the Party narrative is the principle they base their whole existence upon. Their moral foundation is whatever the Party says it is. These leftists haven’t no more ability to think for themselves than my daughter’s pug has the ability to do algebra.
