Not so.

Cost of living stats show that the 3 states mentioned are all in the top 20.

[link=(cost of living rankings)]https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/rankings/opportunity/affordability[/link]

So as I argued earlier the quality of life crap that you posted is liberal talking points.

I'm not sure what liberal or conservative has to do with any of the data or rankings posted thus far. I promise, these rankings aren't out to get you

Also, I never said those states weren't affordable. They are affordable, for a reason. My point was about quality of life measures/rankings. Even with the affordability component rolled in, the QOL has them toward the bottom. This is not some hot take.

Loserman.

Is it possible that quality of life can be subject to personal opinions.

You live a good quality of life, but that does only encompass people in your economic group or is it a available to the lower classes as well?

A medical doctor is going to do well for themselves regardless of where they live. But you're average blue collar worker or low wage earner is more subject to market forces.

You made the assertion that according to some studies supposedly show that by any metric the quality of life of those states are at the bottom.

I gave you metrics that affect quality of life that dispute your claim.

You now need to show your work.

You also need to show the breakdowns of the studies you claim but have never shown.

IOW you lose until you prove your assertion.

Agree, it was my original assertion.

Agree,

IT was also my assertion that I have lived in basically every strata except the upper 1% (by which I mean .05% or less)
My wages in life have been from 2.65 to 90+ an hour.
My wife has earned from 4.25 to 65 an hour.

We have lived together in 23 states.

My original point is the south does not have the bottom of the quality of life bullshite metrics that the libtard studies try to tell us we do.

It's also dumb to measure the quality of life (which is subjective) of an entire state. It's regional at best.

Ohio ranks above LA in all of these rankings yet I'd rather live in Baton Rouge, Lafayette or New Orleans than Youngstown, Cleveland or Akron. I'd rather live in Hunstville, AL than Des Moines, IA.

In my opinion quality of life is much better in southern MS than southern LA. Crime is almost non existent where I curreny live, A rated public schools with awesome demographics, 3%less sales tax than my former parish and houses are approx 30% cheaper. Best part of all is that people are genuinely nice here and aren’t in a hurry.

Isn't this mostly like a call center?

It's a good little jobs announcement, but it isn't like Google is opening a branch office of coders and programmers in Mississippi.

Cali ranks higher than ms, la and alabama in just about every category. You just have to avoid stepping in human feces on the way to work

I bet you spend a lot of time on the South Side hanging out and getting street cred. How about the quality of life in your own frickn town? How many were shot this weekend at a memorial for someone else that was shot over the summer?

What ANC originally stated is that Mississippi is on the way up, not that it has already gotten there. You took that and started a "we are better than you" argument when you only need to look in the mirror of your own Segregated city, Mr. Wrigleyville.

And yes I have been to Wrigleyville several times including a few "Cubbies" games as the local ladies like to call them. And yes, the local ladies LOVE us southern men.

The next four years are going to be a massive waste of time in Louisiana but a big bright spot is that JBE’s leverage with the legislature is even worse off than four years ago considering he doesn’t have John Alario to protect him from tough vetoes and thus he will not be able to control the senate and can’t stack the important committees with democrats and RINOs.

JBE will get virtually none of the massive tax increases he got in his first term and he will be forced to veto or sign tough bills he does not want to come to his desk.

With law making not available to him, JBE is going to have to get really creative through the Governor’s executive powers to try and make this state more blue.

Sec of State elect in MS caught wind of a proposed plant I'm lead guy on, and has been bombarding with "What can we do to get you here?" It will provide 35 direct jobs. Gov. Bryant has done a shitload to make MS a go to place if anyone actually looks. Chemical company president said same thing to me in a meeting in July. The state most open for business out of anywhere they have manufacturing plants.

Is it? In the past six years, Mississippi has opened numerous major manufacturers, and education has gone from last to above average. Mississippi has a fully funded rainy day fund and record tax revenue. They just started a lottery that is going to take several million from Louisiana directly.

Mississippi has shed the crutches. And for the first time, all State offices will be GOP controlled with a GOP supermajority in both the house and senate. We are about to take off.

Very interesting in your last paragraph for sure

We live in Florida Panhandle and love visiting both Mississippi and Alabama coast areas. Love it all. Great people

Louisiana deserves better but can’t escape long time corruption imo
