These are the worst for sure. They are the ones that always want to shame anybody when they don’t agree with the pack mentality. They are the ones that choose Saftey over Liberty. They are the ones that bought this panic hook line sinker. Of course social media just makes their mentality nuclear in situations like this. There’s no way when men ruled the world that we would’ve allowed this panic to happen. There would’ve been a lot more common sense going forward.

Upper middle class suburban women are the most coddled, out of touch people on the planet.

They might as well be children in their mindset. It's all based on emotion and fairy tales.

There are plenty of "panic porn" types here as well.

This all boils down to people not satisfied with their life, IMO. The ones that always need a "cause" or a purpose to show to their facebook audience how important they are. So a natural disaster gives them the opportunity to showcase (or virtue signal) their "powers" they think they have. I mean, do we really need these people to say "y'all, just stay home and wash your hands, we have to flatten the curve!". No, but it makes them feel like they are doing something.
Or if it's not them, it's the stat trackers that are giving hourly updates on the status of the world.

Most rational people just ignore them, and hopes that facebook would completely dissolve.

NextDoor is worse than FB. I guess mainly because i have unfollowed literally everyone in FB.

Someone said, "We must take EVERY precaution." Really EVERY precaution?

I enjoyed all the ones panicking about their children possibly going back to school.

Ain't no kids be dying of this shite. Just keep them away from Nana.

I just passed a Starbucks with a long line of cars. I stopped and counted 28 cars in line. Most of the cars were driven by women who will return home and shame people on FB for not hunkering down at home.

Mine is usually conservative but bring a dumb frick on this because she and her mom both have asthma and my wife has an autoimmune she takes a biological for and makes her immunocompromised so I kind of get it.

But like I told her last night, shut it down for another 3-4 weeks and there is nothing to come back too period. She was talking about how she can't wait to go out to dinner when this is over and I told her...hope you lien chili's because if we follow your plan that will be the only restaurant types that will still be around.

I think it finally hit home with that.

I’m in a “parish group” and the people bitching about people being out and about is insane. No one realizes that some are just riding. That some are getting things to do their job. That some are getting things to replace a broken toilet or other plumbing. They have gone insane and seem to think no one should be outside even.

My wife is a Facebook mom, and literally spends about an hour a day or more on there trying to calm all the other Facebook moms the frick down.

I've been married to her for several years and she's tolerated my political rants this long and I always thought she was just "tolerating" me literally about it, but I was wrong. She was listening, and this CV19 shite is what it took to make her outspokenly woke.

She even reads TigerDroppings PT now, though she won't create an account. She knows my screen name so I have to be careful about "4, 2, 3, 1" threads and I need to be more subdued about my affinity towards FOX anchors Kristen Fisher, Ellison Barber and Katy Pavlich.

Might get me in the dog house, but since this forum has rules:
