Idk if you were insulted by that comment or what’s going on here, but I was being earnest.
The “not rubbing shoulders in my day to day” came across as you seeing all people on work visas as some sort of underclass/farmers maids etc. with that comes the implication that if someone “rubs shoulder” with those then they must be on that level.
I’ve encountered researchers, engineers, doctors and more on various types of “temporary” visas.
Most of the time in my field they get rubber stamped but occasionally we had people run into trouble and it meant the rest of us had to pick up the slack. The people had to go back to their country of origin and sometimes it was a few weeks sometimes longer before they were back.
They weren’t allowed into our institution either.
Hence why if she had overstayed her visa then whoever was paying her also knew that things weren’t on the up and up. Both should be held accountable.
She should be grateful for however many months she made wages in the US illegally

I’m all for deporting illegals, but this is well overboard.
Remember when the left was saying that about the FBI raiding, and arresting, grandpas and grandmas because they simply walked into the capitol building in January 6, 2021?
Yea. Me neither.
All I kept hearing was “no one is above the LAWWW!”

"Star students" are not interior design majors.

I voted for this
Here's what else you voted for.
You voted for corporate, illegal labor sell outs and President Trump's refusal to hold employers (corporate or otherwise) accountable for breaking the law and hiring illegal aliens. The United States is addicted to cheap imported labor and our President will not take away the drug.
You voted for more money and weapons to Ukraine, and a loving, lasting relationship with Lindsey Graham.
You voted for being openly and unapologetically told to frick off about the Epstein files.
And here's one more thing you voted for. The tiny Nation State of Israel and it's continued influence over the American political system.
You voted for alot.

Here's the entire post you're attempting to quote. You mistakenly missed a few pieces. Thanks for the opportunity to clarify and repost.
"You know I skimmed through this thread, and really the only thing you can take from it is that MAGA loves, loves, loves its red meat. Loves it so much in fact that it will cockgobble it over anything substantive or the least bit meaningful.
MAGA for instance, willfully ignores President Trump's corporate "carve outs" (or more appropriately sell outs) for illegal, imported labor. Be that agriculture, hospitality or any industry in this country that relies on illegal aliens for its labor force. But they'll get politically horny for shite like this all the time.
It's as though Trump's acquiescence to corporate labor interests, and his utter refusal to punish employers just doesn't matter to them. But give MAGA a little deportation porn they can toss off to and they're satisfied.
MAGA's a peculiar political movement. They're all about symbolism over substance. It's more than a little surprising".

That’s on you man. Not what I meant at all. Notice there are zero downvotes on your post? Also, you misquoted me.
Concocted an entire fiction in your head and then got irate about it.

This is irrelevant without presenting a candidate you supported where this wasn’t going to happen.

How did they enter the home looking for someone else? Does Ice not have to follow the 4th amendment? Did they have a warrant particularly describing the places to be searched and people or things to be seized?

It’s just a news article. The fact that they don’t even mention your question means there is probably a decent chance they had a warrant.

See the thing is, I bet you can’t define MAGA. I’ve never once called myself that. People who voted for Trump have all different views on this issue. Some believe we don’t need any foreign workforce at all and some think it’s a necessity. You are painting with a broad brush. I largely voted for Trump because of the alternative. So I take the good with the bad because elections are always the lesser of two evils. It’s interesting people make posts like yours but don’t say how the person they voted for would be better. Do you think letting even millions more in and then mass amnesty is would be a benefit? That’s what Kamala would have done.
I voted for Trump. My expectations were modest and achievable. Close the border, keep a decent economy and keep us out of war.
The border was the easy part. The economy is ok for now, we'll see how that goes, and war? Well we'll see on that one too.
Oh and as far as "mass amnesty" goes. Amnesty by any other name is still amnesty.
You know when Trump says "carve outs" for agriculture, that's code for every industry in this country that relies on illegal labor for its workforce. You know this shite doesn't stop at picking lettuce, right?
Amnesty is exactly what he's doing.

Okay cool so you’re for deporting the girl in question of is she part of what you’d carve out? I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought I’d agree with everything he did. I voted for him because I knew I’d disagree with about everything Kamala did and there would likely be far worse downstream consequences.

Trump said he will go after the gangs and murders. ICE hasn't stepped one foot into any gang strongholds. They are going after the easy ones to meet the quotas.

Is she currently legally allowed to remain in the US?
Everything else is smoke.
Here legally? Stay.
Here illegally for any reason? GTFO.
We have plenty of “model students”, we don’t need illegal ones.
Maybe, just maybe if Biden hadn’t fricked it up so bad people would feel different.

I’m going thru the VISA process with my woman now, and she is in Colombia. I tell her if it wasn’t for my kids here to raise, I’d be the one applying for my VISA in Colombia.
Can actually Live there for a fraction of the price, just need a couple of rental properties here in USA for income and live like a king for $3-4K month.
Can live there decently for much cheaper, but I like to live life a little.
Music in the streets almost everywhere, great meals, all organic and fresh, best juices squeezed Almost on the spot. No materialistic bullshite like here. People just live life and roll with it like our grandparents generations living in NOLA. Family gatherings, always dinner and lunch at the table.
Don’t have to keep up with the Joneses’, kids birthday parties set up like weddings, Stupid REVEAL PARTIES.
Americans (as a whole) have lost our way as a majority. And it’s almost impossible to steer your kids away from the modern culture if they are growing up with it in their faces.
This girl should go make the best of it in Santa Marta, CO

If I gave a shite about likes do you think I would’ve posted this here? The point was I upvoted your post. It substantiates the fact that you’re a pussy who is apparently insanely insecure about their job.
I’ll prove it. Check the post again.
Upvotes and downvotes are normally useless, but here they’re proof that I was being earnest & that you’re an overly sensitive clown.
