Sen. Mitch McConnell’s condition has improved since being rushed to the hospital last month after suffering a health scare, a spokesperson for the Kentucky Republican revealed on Thursday.

“Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “The senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session.”

No retractions of the 911 heart attack story.

I've asked it once and I'll ask it again.

What kind of power-hungry psychopath who has more money than he can possibly spend keeps working that job until his body simply stops?

Someone who loves that taste, smell, touch of his own power… exact opposite of our Founding Fathers.

True strength does not lie in the ability to wield power… yet comes through having the courage and wisdom to restrain.

Mitch McConnell, like John Thune, like to wield power. Usually against the American people.

Who in congress is brave enough to draft a bill to put an age limit on serving? And what age shall we agree upon.

Maybe they will get him fixed up and release him back into nature safely.

So if we can’t get term limits can we at least get age limits? It is ridiculous that we have had several people over the years just one notch above being a cadaver.

FYI: If the media is saying this it means he’s definitely dead.

When you begin to serve, you cannot be higher than the age of 69.

That and 2 terms only.

Mandatory cognitive tests should be mandatory to this bill also. Before anyone can take the oath and be sworn in to any government job then a cognitive tests should needs to be completed and passed and results made public. It should come at the expense of the person getting ready to serve and not the taxpayer.

I'd prefer he drop dead on the floor of the Senate.

Not surrounded by "..... and friends"..... but people who could not care less about him, other than what he could provide for them in life.

That's how he should go out.

Unrepentant.
