The senator did not vote against repeal. Given that info, I’m leaning more towards crazy right winger trying to shift balance of legislature

If the Minnesota Democrats are really that upset about this they would invite ICE in to go wreck shop.

They said there was a manifesto and list of politicians found in the police car he was using. So I’m assuming it was more than these 2 politicians that were targeted. So probably not having anything to do with their voting records. Seems like this was planned for a while to get the LEO uniform and police car.

A law enforcement spokesperson says they have the shooter's vehicle, a dark SUV with a pushbar, and fake sirens, and that the vehicle contained a target list of several other lawmakers and a manifesto.

If this is the case and this is the motive.......the blood is on The Governor's hands and every other moron who has been whipping up the hate.

Today could be a very bad day for the country, these clowns have turned loose the crazies..

I assume their governor can veto so unlikely to make much difference unless the senate district flips on the special election. Just a nut job.

While I don’t wish for this to happen, hopefully it will be a wakeup call to some about what’s going on.

Correct, I believe he’s the minority whip. Maybe still holding him responsible for her leaving the reservation?

She was the speaker of the house. He's a senator.

The decent thing to do would be to veto the bill now.

I’m talking about this materially changing future legislation. Retribution for one vote, sure. However that is quite a convincing cover the murderer used to just come up with it on a spur of the moment reaction. Unless he was a law enforcement officer off duty using his own uniform and squad car.

What would you do If you were the suspect and you had to leave on foot after engaging in shots fired with police officers?
Would you not go to someone's house and
pretend again that you are a police officer, get
inside and then get
money and a car and leave?
