I have to think she’s saying all these unpopular things because she truly doesn’t want to run and she’s trying to torpedo her chances.
I don’t think she’s as smart and brilliant as democrats like to say she is by a long shot, but she’s not dumb.

Fair point. It's worthy to note, though, that Hillary did remain in government securing more connections long after Wild Bill left the WH.
At least, for the most part, BHO and Mike have chosen to lurk mostly in the shadows as opposed to continuing to hog the D.C. limelight. Hillary set us back 30 years with her "Russia reset" alone.

The far majority of the foundation money was made with Hillary as SOS and pending presidential run. A few fun facts:
Many wondered how the Clintons were broke leaving the WH (due to Bill having to fund legal fees for personal lawsuits) and could afford a multi million dollar mansion in NY. Its customary with all ex presidents, they select the property, the govt builds a cottage on the property for the SS and then the clintons charged them rent equivalent to the mortgage note on "the big house".
Bill gave a speech to a "garden party" of a couple 100 old women in London for about 40 minutes and collected close to 200 grand. Hillary was SOS who wields a lot of power in the UN. Soon after the garden party the UN removed UNESCO World Heritage status from the Pitons park in St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Soon after a yacht basin with luxuries housing was developed.....by the fella who funded the garden party.

Where do you get this idea from?
The White House has a funded budget, paying for a chef, staff, and food.
The President doesn’t give his debit card to a staffer to run out to buy groceries at Publix.

Who chose to run for President, Big Mike? Stupid arguments on her part as their family has profited literally far more from Obama’s presidency than any costs they incurred for meals and travel.
