Michael Yon, the war correspondent, curious as to how the bullet trace photo was taken.

Says he never took a picture in combat, or saw a photo that showed a bullet trace.
Yon shot some of the most famous photos from Iraq and Afghanistan.
"Am not suggesting anything at all. Just as a war correspondent…I never cranked shutter that high even for anything. I wanted to keep ISO lower. Other professionals choose other settings."

I do not recall seeing any bullet trace photos from close to 90 degrees from bullet’s flight path.

My first thought was — I’d never seen a trace shot from that angle. Second thought was it should be possible. Third thought was that would be a fast shutter speed.
I was preparing to reach out to the photographer. Hunting and pecking online, I found New York Times quoting the shutter speed at 1/8000th of second.

The the New York Times photographer, Doug Mills, is quoted as shooting at 30fps 1/8000.
Those are settings I would choose if I were trying to catch extremely fast action. Such as a head exploding.

I honestly think it’s actually part of his ear that is visible, flesh and blood, not the actual bullet.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing!!
Photo shopped like crazy!!
Means the angle of the shot came from higher or lower angle!
Where did it end up at??

Wonder why he was shooting at such a fast shutter speed for still shots of a speech.

Could it be an artifact of some sort?

And why he wasn't afraid to be running around the stage holding a black object in the direction of Trump with 6 jumpy armed and hair triggered SS agents scouring the crowd

But why would NYTimes want to fake a pic that helps Trump?

How does that picture help Trump?
I'm not interested in why, I'm just saying that the logistics of capturing a picture like that is nil with enhancement or outright fabrication.

I’m an avid photographer, and if the subject is moving, as the president would be, and because you have plenty of light, it’s not unusual to use a very high shutter speed and snap photos in rapid succession.

You are very low IQ. The photographer actually confirmed and shows the settings in a photo I saw

You’re an absolute idiot. The picture DOES help because retarded liberals like you can’t claim the bullet never came close to him or that it was staged, or that it was glass.

Agree with you, and I’ve got some pro gear myself, … but I can’t ever recall snapping at 8,000 …. even for live sports subjects. Two-thousand mebbe, but 8000?

If they did have a photographer set up with a highspeed camera, they wanted to capture his head exploding to then push the narrative on how deadly the AR15 is and that it has to be banned.
They are not talking about the weapon at all, since it only knocked off part of his ear.
Seems suspicious, don't you think?

8000 is high, but again, if you have ample light, using a shutter speed as high as possible will prevent any blur in your photo from motion, like Trump moving his arms around.
It’s also possible he wasn’t shooting in manual mode, and if he had one of the priority modes set, the camera could have chosen the shutter speed on its own.
Plus, it’s ridiculous to propose the photographer knew Trump would be shot!

I used to shoot sports events back in college. If the game or match was outside, during the daytime, I always shot at the highest shutter speed the camera had, just in case.
Blurry pics suck.

One thing for certain .......
That photo is more believable than anything that comes out of Biden's, Harris.s' the mouths of the investigators .......Oddly enough all DEMOCRATS.
