We love our Welfare Queens, don’t we folks? Update link below.

quote:

A Miami Republican who endorsed Trump’s reelection has filed a bill for this year’s legislative session that could allow the state to hand out up to $5 million to the embattled Republican frontrunner for president. The legislation has already won the endorsement from Jimmy Patronis, the state’s Republican chief financial officer, who for months has been publicly calling for taxpayers to pay to defend Trump from criminal charges.

quote:

We’re in the midst of an historic moment where we’re watching an election that’s trying to be stolen by left wing prosecutors, the Biden Administration and even Blue States,” said GOP state Sen. Ileana Garcia in a statement. “They’re not trying to win at the ballot box; they’re trying to keep President Trump off the ballot by weaponizing the courts. Having a Floridian in the White House is good for our state — and anything we can do to support Florida Presidential candidates, like President Trump, will not only benefit our state, but our nation.”

Looks like Ron! isn't done killing his political future just yet. I'm not saying he should just go along with it, but he sure as fck needs to stay quiet and off twitter about it. What a fool.

Our federal tax dollars ($25 mill and counting) are being used by DOJ to engage in a political witch hunt to help Joe Biden.

Are you fine with this miss-use of taxpayer money as well? Or is it justified because OMB?

He’s the Governor, what do you expect him to do?

That’s what a leader does. Tells you what he’s going to do, and then do it.

Everybody’s supposed to walk on egg shells with Trump, just to avoid one of his temper tantrums.

What a child.

This is what Trump has done to people.

So, I’m sure that you will be ok with the government paying for the Bidens’ legal bills, right? Who’s going to decide who’s being prosecuted, and who’s being persecuted?

Biden’s crimes seem to be ignored, so it’s a moot point. Biden was caught with classified documents he stole as a senator and vice president and had them stored in his garage, yet nothing has happened. Biden and his family have taken bribes from foreign governments, yet again, nothing has happened.

I’m totally on board with prosecuting the whole family. They’re corrupt as is the DC DoJ.

Just be careful for what you wish for.

What does welfare queens have to do with a former President raided by the FBI and falsely accused of holding the nuclear codes?

What is wrong with you?

Ron can take some of the triple millions he got to be a dick and run for President; & pay for the FBI raid while Ron sat in his mansion plotting over how he can be President.

His reply is telling. Especially when he blew through money like a cheap whore that Paul Ryan contracted.

I don’t disagree that he should stay off twitter, but he definitely shouldn’t sign off on this if it requires his signature.

Unless the Florida government has cost him these legal bills?

Why?
He’s a public figure and he issued a position on legislation that is being considered.
Should he not speak to newspapers either?

Please tell Ron to never run MAGA coat tails ever again. That well dried up.

After getting his arse handed to him even though he know Florida voters didn't want him to run he's back to "leading".

Yeah okay.

Using taxpayer funds to pay for a rich man’s legal bills sounds sort of Elitist Swampy to me.
