Mexico just elected a Leftist who campaigned on "Price Controls"

In recent years the inflow of Mexican illegals has significantly dwindled and has been replaced by the Central Americans....but, with the possibility of a price control leftist running the show in Mexico, I'm worried we could see a Venezuela style meltdown.
One things for sure, if you're an American oil & gas company that invested in Mexico when Nieto opened up the industry to foreign investment, you're probably fricked. I'd put any new investment on hold.

He actually ran on anti-corruption and repairing Mexico/USA relations.
Might sit back and wait before we figure out what is really going on down there.

They mostly kill local politicians/cops. I don't think they've killed on the national level.
