Or it could have been for business purposes. There are still instances where going to the bank is necessary.

It definitely cut out a lot of time and hassle (especially if you get a check from a client/employer on a Friday mid or late afternoon).

Now imagine the public school systems around the US dealing with this while they fail to educate American kids because they are taking time away trying to settle in foreigner’s all damn day.
