That is exactly what they should have done. Drawn their weapons and had a Mexican standoff. Too bad you were not there to tell them what to do. Would have worked out perfectly I am sure.

I suppose a cop in your world also lays down and surrenders whenever a potential bad guy pulls a gun on him too. These people are trained and paid for a reason and that is not to instantly surrender whenever someone challenges them.
