This is a really good point that is not discussed enough. Why would they not want it?

Because their country is a complete failure and their entire economy is based on shipping their citizens abroad and having them work and send money back home.

Why does Mexico care if we construct a wall? The only thing he needs to be concerned with is Trump saying his country is going to be paying for it.

The wall itself shouldn't even be an issue for them.

If I were trump, I'd tweet out "Don't wanna show up for the meeting next week? That's excellent news, really. I had real work to knock out anyway. #FirstWorldProblems"

1- It keeps them from pushing off more of their poor indigenous people on us. They would have to actually take care of them. The light skinned tall Mexicans don't really care for those people.

2- It makes it harder for them to get their own illegals from Central America out of their country and into ours so that they don't have to deal with them.

frick Mexico. Racist POS country.

Read 'Medina threatens Trump'! He may as well jump in the ring with one of those bulls down there, and wave a red hanky.

Damn the torpedoes...full steam ahead.

In 30 years, 1/3 of Mexico has moved HERE. The 1/3 they didn't want. Another 30 years, Mexico will probably be perfect for the Castillians.

Yep. They wave that Mexican flag but would rather hang out with the Spanish over their shorter country mates.

Make Mexico Castillian Again or something like that.

in fairness to him he is in a no win

best thing for his people is to give in to Trump in some way publicly and try to save nafta and maquiladoras

Sure his voters are too excited to see him go tuck tail

Why? I'll make it real simple for you, and it has nothing to do with poor Jose and his family crossing the border illegally to get here. The answer in one word is drugs. Mexico is infested with corruption in part due to the cartels that control the drug trade. A physical barrier would funnel people, including drug mules into the hands of us authorities. If built right, it would also prevent tunneling underneath. So if you're in the drug business, how are you going to get your product into the US if there is a big fat physical barrier erected? So my point is that the drug cartels that control the Mexican politicians don't want a wall because it's going to put a huge dent in their business.
