I'd like to think that Metallica has enough money that they'd tell the people trashing hetfield, to go frick themselves.

But then I think of Lars having a bitchfit about Napster. And I kind of get the feeling that Lars would have Hetfield publicly apologize.

Lars wouldn't apologize because he was definitely right from his perspective. He saw that Napster was taking a little money out of their pockets and he destroyed them.

Hetfield said something this time...that can potentially take money out of their pockets, since Metallica has 4 events later this year. This isn't something that can be overcome by suing someone. In this new society, woke outrage can only be somewhat tamed, when someone publicly apologizes. In this situation, I can see Lars having Hetfield apologize.

To me, Lars always seemed like the one in charge.
