I agree with you. Every Christian is obligated to vote for the lesser of two evils here. Sitting this one out is the wrong thing to do. Any Christian who sits this one out is wrong. Any Christian who votes for Harris is wrong.

What was the famous saying?

Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

A vote for America First/MAGA is a vote against Cultural Marxism and the DC Uniparty Globalists.....it really is a binary choice with no nuance.

That's quite the broad brush you're painting with there.

It is a broad brush, but is sadly more accurate than most of us would like to admit.
Some of the most judgmental people I have ever met were people I knew from church.
A lot of us could use a refresher course on how God used Moses, Saul, David, Peter, and Paul, among plenty of others to accomplish His works.

Funniest thing is he’s ignoring Trump’s spiritual awakening since the Butler shooting and that God has used troubled men for His service countless times.

I'm almost positive that when you repeat that statement to Jesus himself, hes going to lol at you for pretending to know someones elses commitment to him. That aint your job. In fact, he says if you do that, be prepared for it to bite you in the arse
I’m speaking of a public profession of faith and a life lived consistent with that profession, including a commitment to honoring Jesus with their word and actions and repentance of sin. I don’t claim to know a person’s heart but I can see the fruits and have them inform my voting practices.

People here think I’m looking for a perfect man to be President, but I’m not. I’m looking for a Christian who seeks first Christ’s kingdom. It’s unfortunate that Christianity is so diluted these days that a faithful Christian is considered a super saint and beyond reasonable expectation.

You stay home and don't help us fight these Marxists, Foo. You'd probably sneeze and give away our position anyway.

Has he made a recommitment to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and sought to live his life consistent with biblical commands and principles?

I actually would love to see that he has. I could vote for him without issue if that were the case.

A true Christian one who believes that Christ is lord and evil is the devil,
can`t vote for a political party whose most important issue is Abortion. Our
lord does not approve of killing babies and if you vote for people who do
you are part of the evil.FACT.If I`m wrong you better be right.!!!

Only the Lord knows a man’s heart but it’s disrespectful to God to act like a man can’t change his heart based on his past actions.

Have you forgotten all about your Doctrine of Eternal Security, Foo?!?

I'm surprised at you!

According to Eternal Security Doctrine, once Saved Always Saved. If Trump ever believed in Jesus Christ and had Faith in Him, Trump was Saved and his Salvation is Eternally Secure, according to your own Doctrine.

How could you forget this?

I haven’t said that a person cannot change. I actually believe that God does change hearts and draw men to repentance and faith. That change is usually accompanied with a profession of faith and a desire to live according to God’s Word. I would love to see those things from Trump.

You don't believe that Donald Trump was ever Saved? You are telling us that you know that Donald Trump is not one of the Predestined Select that God chose Before Time Began to live forever with God in Heaven?

You are telling us that Donald Trump is Predestined to go to Hell?

If Donald Trump ever received Christ in his heart and proclaimed that Christ was his Personal Lord and Savior, Trump would be Saved.

He might be Saved, Foo! You don't know for sure!

And if Trump is Saved, or was EVER Saved you have told us that through your sects belief in the Doctrine of Eternal Security that Once Trump was Saved, Trump could not lose his Salvation no matter what he did.

I'd say there's a good chance that Trump was once Saved, so, you should vote for him.

It most certainly is my business and the business of every Christian to hold each other accountable to the profession we make.

How does the paradigm of church discipline in Matthew 18 play out if sin is not the business of Christians? Galatians 6:1-2 speaks of Christians restoring brothers who are in sin to repentance. Hebrews 10:24-25 says that we should encourage one another to good works.

There many passages where Christians are expected to be part of a community and to encourage and correct one another in love. Jesus taught us to see the fruits (works) as an evidence of the tree (salvation in Christ). That's all I’m doing when I’m voting. I’m not judging the soul of a man but his profession and the fruit he produces to determine if I should support him as a leader.

I’m not interested in teaching you about the biblical doctrine of preservation at this time. Your ignorance of the subject and its application in regards to Trump are distractions to the subject at hand.

Suffice it to say that I’m not judging his soul, only his actions in light of my responsibility to glorify God with my choice of voting.

You and I are likely very close in our belief in the Lord Jesus. I posted a couple of links in an earlier post in this thread where this topic is discussed from several in the Reformed camp (even though I don't think that's a major player in the views expressed).

If you have already listened to them, I'd love to hear your thoughts. If not, I encourage you to do so. One's about 13 minutes and the other right at an hour I think. Blessings.
