I saw this a few weeks ago and the first thing that came to mind is does she have a smartphone? does she use it on social media? if she does then she can definitely read

I worked with guys years ago that actually could not read, smartphones and the internet changed a lot of things and illiteracy in the western world is practically non-existent because of that

edited to add, I suspect she is well below her expected reading level, has a true learning disorder and is “functionally” illiterate but she is also trying to win a lawsuit

a lot more info here, allegations of abuse, stalking and harrassment from counselors

a buddy of mine went through 13 years of catholic school and struggled through two years of college before he was diagnosed with dyslexia

once he was diagnosed and trained he breezed through college and has been an educator for 30+ years

Oh well, the dumbing down of American (and migrant) students is normal now.

Europe did their part with the Bologna bullshite some fifteen years ago (introducing the US two year worthless degree shite, and both shortening and lightening the course load of important or meangingfull degrees by a year).

Why does this angry Hungarian Jew aggressively fund this stuff?

He's obscenely rich, and made it in the stock market.

Why does he hate capitalism?

Well ignorant Puerto Rico, a US territory, decided a few years back to make Spanish their official language, as an FU to the US who gives them billions, absurd billions during the last hurricane, only to have it stolen and the power grid still a mess, and garbage collection a disaster.

Maybe she should have stayed there instead of migrating to a country where she does not speak the language and then suing people because she is too lazy to learn it.

Dexter Manley, I think it was one of those "A football life" segments. He also had a bad drug habit, eventually ended his career. Destroyed his life. Had a lot of people help him get his life back together, one fella in particular.

He said the fella invited him out to celebrate his anniversary of sobriety and handed him a gift.....it was Dexters superbowl ring he had hocked for a song when he was high. Fella had tracked it from the hock shop to who had ended up with it, told him the story of Dex and got it back.

For over 120 years with the exception of a two year blip, there have been two official languages...

The island is poorly run. Won't argue that. Hell most Puerto Ricans won't argue that.

As for the OP, not sure what all is going on but it's an exception to the rule. I have not come across many (any) Puerto Ricans that grew up on the mainland that don't know English.

Spanish is by far the dominant language in Puerto Rico. Through pressure from the US they dropped the "official" title, but visit there, you will rarely here english spoken there.

This nonsense of using DEI to take advantage of the education system, and then suing because you never put forth the effort is horseshat.

So when that doesnt work, throw in the ole sexual harassment card. Im surprised she hasnt added the lgpqurztipp one.

Don't undergrads still have to take core classes in English and Math?

Those classes usually weed kids who have no business in college.

This. She's cute, but need more info to decide. Looks like a younger, cuter AOC. She's well over 18 correct?

It was either Lionel James or James Brooks that came out of Auburn functionally illiterate. They were so embarrassed he was invited to come back to school free of charge to help him.
