C'mon man...why? Are you gonna drug test welfare recipients, too? Americans still have rights you know so quit being a bitch to the Democrats!

You think people have no responsibility to people paying for their services?

I am not advocating for a single reduction in any one’s constitutional rights.

So people who depend on the government for health care should be forced to choose between the vaccine and no health care? Best argument against government funded healthcare I have heard in a while.

That doesn't mean the vaccine is more "experimental" than hundreds of meds we take daily.

I don't even broadly object to "experimental", per se, but that I am not allowed to balance risk decisions for myself and my family, particularly when I am not significantly at risk from death or serious illness from this particular virus at this particular time.

(I'm not an anti-vaxxer, either.)

What is weird about this stance?

I have to have an annual physical to continue my health insurance. Nobody makes me continue the policy but I want too.

If that a denial of my rights???

Don't we pay the President and congress with our taxes for services? One being to uphold the health and safety of our citizens. Does Biden have a responsibility to secure our borders and not allow illegals to roam freely in our country?
You must be a DEMOCRAT!

Right but why should we pay for any hospitalizations of unvaccinated Medicaid people?

That is not applicable at all. Those people are hired help that presumably are being paid for their services.

Medicaid people are doing nothing for their benefit.

And a better question would be why should we in a free society pay any penalty for the most important aspect of freedom, choice?

Medicaid people have choices.

Because we pay for it anyway. Hospitals cannot legally turn them away. Even if they lose Medicaid they can show up at the ER and we pay for it

Have you been forced to take it?

Yet you want that choice to be vaccinated with an experimental vaccine, which by the way the government seems very interested in keeping anything negative about them being made public and having healthcare at all over a virus that has a 99.7% survival rate. You lack logic.

What about prisoners in jail? Should we not give them health care...your dialogue makes no sense.

Why not?

What else should we not be paying for? Start making a list.

I will start the list by saying taxpayers should only be paying for one(1) kid through Medicaid. If a Medicaid recipient choses to have kid #2, #3 or #4 they have to pay for it out of the their own pocket. If they can't pay they need to set up some sort of work program so they can pay it off. Maybe pickup trash on the interstate.

37% percent of the people in Louisiana are on Medicaid. Holding everything else equal that means 37% of hospitalizations for COVID have been paid for by Medicaid.
