Nothing will happen. He was in lockstep with the DOJ and FBI. He was saying the shite the permanent government wanted to say, but couldn't openly do so. He was just another establishment cog doing whatever it took to disrupt the presidency of trump. Zero chance the DOJ looks into him.
I believe he got assurances from the DOJ and FBI before he decided to get in front of the camera every other day to scream about all the evidence that's out there.

This is how they protect each other. They will create a facade of taking down Schiff but Schiff will prevail and look very strong as he runs for the US Senate seat from California. Just what he needs to win.
