Let's remember I am the one on here advocating for the advancement and well being of actual American citizens who were born here regardless of their skin color over 'immigrants' from other countries. What is your definition of "actual American?" Legally, Flores is just as much an American citizen as you are.

Lord have mercy. We've covered all this. Immigration in 1800 or 1900 does not equal Immigration in 2022. We've also covered it doesn't matter what color or where these Immigrants are from. We simply don't need them here in 2022. We have over 330 million people here already. 30 million of which are Illegal Immigrants (yes even from places like Ireland) millions more who are Immigrants. Millions more who are anchor babies of Illegal Immigrants. Under no circumstances do we need 'more' Immigrants of any kind in this country. It simply isn't sustainable. The 50,000 to 100,000 Irish Illegal Immigrants here today are no different than ones from Haiti, El Salvador, Guatemala, etc. Why are you trying to bring race into this after pages upon pages of posts stating otherwise? Is your response some elaborate 'troll' like others have claimed on here? Get a grip.

I wonder if an immigrant parent and an American parent makes an American child.

Also curious if the natural born child of an anchor baby gets legitimacy from that poster.

She is not a natural born American Citizen. If you want to get technical about it she isn't even as American as an Anchor Baby born here to an actual Illegal Immigrant. If Ms. Flores had a (D) after her name how would that be framed on here? What would the reaction be? I think we both know the answer to that.

Why does only one route to citizenship matter to you?

The 14th Amendment states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

"Born" is no more legit than "naturalized" regardless of your get off my lawn feelings.

Sorry, but that isn't the case. I am not an American because of birthright citizenship only. Birthright citizenship doesn't make me an American. I am an American because I was born to two parents who were native born Americans who both came from native born Americans etc. and on down the line.

You can try to spin this all you want. Lets keep in mind only about 33 countries worldwide have unrestricted birthright citizenship. That doesn't define me.

The Right virtue signals on things like Abortion, Guns, Religion and a host of other shite. I am here to tell you that EITHER political group virtue signaling on any issue is stupid. It's dumb. I don't agree with anyone doing it regardless of their political partisanship. People on here are absolutely losing their shite over this harmless position that 'celebrating' someone being born in another country and being elected to congress is dumb. We also wouldn't be having this conversation if Flores had a (D) after her name.

Didn't vote for him. Think he can be very divisive. Think there are aspects of American Culture and beliefs he does not like. Therefore, I would never 'celebrate' him being elected to any political office. Does that answer your question?
