Appointed bureaucrat doesn’t like constitutional oversight and accountability.

Shocked.

Ok. so this is a sincere question but what comes next? after he's removed from position at least. he was nominated and appointed by the Dems right? so they'll just do it again? or is there some sort of consequences for nominating and appointing someone who was impeached?

is he right?

I'm so baffled by that. I would have assumed that with all the shite going on right now the president would have been speaking to his secretary of defense at least every other day.

If a dem lead senate will impeach him they would impeach something worse than him. No way the repubs can remove him from office unless fetterman plus a few other join in

Sounds like more reason to impeach him.

What you consider to be incompetence is likely a successful and carefully crafted mission for him.

Just to make sure I understand, you suggest that it’s a strong possibility that his shaming and embarrassing himself not just before the citizens of the United States but indeed before the entire world, is and will forever be identified with perhaps the most negligent management of one of the most important aspects and obligations of not just this government but of any country’s government, to protect its borders thus its sovereignty thus its citizens, at one of the most critical points in its history……that blatantly shameful “performance” is intentionally part of a carefully crafted mission? The planning and plotting of that mission itself would be severely incompetent.

Kat is my House Rep.

Mayorkas wasn't born here. Conditions of citizenship mean holding to the tenets of our national identity and the ideals our nation stands for. Mayorkas stands in direct opposition, therefore he qualifies for having citizenship revoked.

I will deport Mayorkas. May also prosecute him for treason. He hates this country. He didn't just come out of the blue, either. He's been involved in this crap since the Obama years, if not before.

He is a stain on this nation. His hatred for a place that gave him freedom and prosperity is a testament to the notion that when you make it easy for people to invade, or just stroll across your border, with zero consequences, that there is no respect that they have for the nation. Why would they respect a nation that does not respect its own sovereignty?

This is part of a larger problem. People around the world will not respect us until we respect our own nation, protect it, and look after our national interests. People around the world are also looking at how we vote - if we continue to vote for the same bunch of losers, by extension we are losers. That is how others see us.

We are seeing some interesting things play out. Scalia always said that Congress held the real power in this nation, but he may not have taken into account that the Executive can do what it wants, regardless of what Congress has to say, and that's exactly what Mayorkas, Biden, and others in this admin are doing.

Envision a Congress with total Republican control - if they impeached and removed Mayorkas, do you really think he'd leave? Look at his behavior. He would refuse.

What he's doing and how he's behaving gives more credence than ever that we will have to break up Homeland once we rid ourselves of this treasonous group in the 2024 election.

It drives me nuts that Bongino and others write shitheads like Mayorkas and Garland off as incompetent. They are not.

that his shaming and embarrassing himself not just before the citizens of the United States

I think Mayorkas doesn't see it that way. And most telling, he doesn't care that you do, he probably prefers that you do.
Psychopaths, all of them. He's not a stupid person, why does he go before Congress and repeat the same stupid non answers to questions over and over and over again? The Border, DHS collusion with media companies to censor, everything.

It would be impossible to accidentally frick the border up as much as he and the entire administration has.
He wasn't lying when he said they had operational control of the border. It's going exactly how he and his bosses want it to be going.

I've dealt with people like this before. They're smart... play their cards well... dare and double dare... expert actors. You have to just tune them out and do what you have to do, or else they win. Narcissistic sociopaths. They'll squeeze every drop of doubt out of you and make you second-guess yourself. They'll play the wounded victim. They're smooth and polished.

It's not unlike a traffic stop when the perp goes 80 in a 35 and then cries foul...
