The price of just about everything is inflated.... I do use premium gas but that is not my number one complaint. My complaints are 30 +years old. The debt is ignored and people are surprised we have inflation. If we do not reign in spending this problem will continue to move forward unabated.

The average car on the road is a 7 year old camry or F150.
From what I see at least 65% of new sedans are hyundai/kia

It’s easy to only see the nicer cars, especially if you’re not in a nicer car

Down votes are insane lol
The fricking government just had to pay billions to companies for doing illegal tariffs. This companies increased their prices to account for the tariffs. So the consumer pays higher prices for the illegal tariffs and the corporations get a refund. A proper country would riot on that shite.

I agree with him, but all the nerds crying about it now when it's only been a few months... but said NOTHING about the four years under Biden, when it was worse, and even lashed out at people who were mentioning it, can STFU.

Good lord, I hate these replies.
“There is a problem with X”
“Well, what is your solution then? This other thing that is an extreme and unrealistic alternative? You clearly believe it is!”
FFS, people have completely lost the ability will to discuss nuance.

This thread proves his point.
Half the posts are looking to lay the blame at someone's feet.
The reality is that it is a major problem, especially for the young. The GOP needs to offer solutions or we will see more and more people latch on to socialism as the answer.
If only one party acknowledges the problem and offers solutions(even if those solutions won't work), don't be surprised if people vote for it.

That and the tariffs and war have made it 10x worst.
Second term trump had a chance to have a booming economy just by luck. He comes in at the data center and AI stock boom...all he had to do was just sit on his arse and not do anything. Instead he shits on it with the tariffs and then the war. Insanely incompetent. Meanwhile he and his fam and elbow deep in inside trading and kickbacks. Its a fricking joke man.

Check what inflation was before in the last quarter of Biden vs Q2 of this year

You’re just poor and should make more money

At the same time, asset owners should recognize that much of their prosperity is supported by the labor and spending of people who may still be struggling. That should encourage compassion, support for responsible monetary policy that limits damaging inflation, and—especially for business owners—a willingness to share more of the value created with the employees who help create it.
We are out of whack (the spread is too big) because of government spending.

Patton Oswalt often humorously suggests that people should just order takeout instead of cooking, reflecting a common sentiment about the convenience of food delivery.
Yeah, at the time he said just order out!, he wasn’t kidding. He was being oblivious to the status of the Covid shut down.

Check what it was the first quarter after Trump took office. It went down. The muh price of eggs that libs started complaining about literally two days after he was inaurgurated, immediately went down. Iran is what is driving prices up now. It's been four months. The gas prices are temporary. I don't like it it but I'm going to give Trump the benefit of the doubt over pricks like Biden, and all the commies in the Democrat party. You want to see inflation REALLY go up again, put Democrats back in power.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.

He’s partially right, but he’s wrong when he says Trump had no part in rising prices. Both tariffs and the war have caused higher prices.

No shite it is from Iran. Who was in charge for that decision?
Rates were easing before the Iran castostrophe. Look at the 10year yield chart.
Inflation spiked in the first quarter of Trump too Btw. Went down in Q2 but is currently 2x bidens last term. All from dumbass decisions from this admin.

You will need a deflationary bust like a great depression to reset things. It’s coming, but they will patch things as long as they can( both sides)

Inflation and gas prices are less than under Biden. Egg prices are down.
This is not a lie, just the truth.
And if you cried about egg prices before but not celebrating them being cheaper, you are the disingenuous person.
