That would break the mind of at least half of the Republicans in Washington, and the money people that put them in Washington. The truth is, some people know how to play the game and unfortunately it’s usually people on the Democratic side. The Republicans and the better than you attitude at it’s core is the problem.

True. But the video can easily be viewed by everyone else, including those people who don’t follow the stuff. All they see is a guy butting into an interview without any context.
To the casual observer, this can easily be twisted into something that makes Kevin look like the good guy.

To get on powerful committee assignments in the House you have to have enough "clout", What does "clout" mean?
It means $$$$$$.
Gaetz gets his money from mostly small donations from his district in Florida and around the nation. From his campaign coffers he transfers hundreds of thousands of dollars into other political action committees directed by Mike Johnson. In return Mike Johnson appoints Matt Gaetz to a powerful committee assignment.
Gaetz earns "clout" in the non-Washington way.
The way clout is normally gained in Washington is it is provided to congressmen vial lobbyists usually working for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, MIC companies, AIPAC, etc. You vote the way these lobbyists want you to vote and they will provide the "clout" to buy a powerful committee assignment.
That's the way it works.
Gaetz earns his clout differently. That is the real reason he is hated in DC.
