I donated to him yesterday.
First politician since Ron Paul I’ve given a dime to.

I understand the problems with McCarthy, but when you are outnumbered 200-20 you have to pick your spots. You are a long way from being in control.
It wasn’t as if they presented a viable alternative. It was all anti McCarthy. No real options were pushed forward.

No one asked the question yet. Is this winred grifting off his name? Or is this Gaetz personal fundraiser? I ask because I got the same one in OK. And I wrote my rep twice this week it seems the GOPe might be grifting off his name to me. Did my emails get sold to grifters again? The national GOP grifters will never get another penny from me. I will only donate directly to a candidate once I know 100% of the money goes directly to them not the grifter party. The geifters took all that money off Trumps name over last few years and used it to screw over some candidates by endorsing RINO’s over Patriots.

Setting aside Gaetz, McCarthy and anybody else involved, the Speaker has way too much power and the way they pass bills is completely absurd. I’m ok with any attempts to reform that; I don’t care if it’s Gaetz or AOC or a lolbertarian. If “Guam might tip over” wants to make sure they actually read and debate 1.7 trillion dollar spending bills I’m 100% behind his efforts.

There were compromises in committee memberships, rules of operation, congressional agenda, and requirements for SOTH removal. Politics is the art of compromise. In the end, that is exactly what this was. One 10th of the caucus wielded disproportionate power and used it to advantage.
