It’s either woke nonsense or common sense. Pick a side.

Eh. Ron made his move too early, but that aside, he’d have all the right’s support in 2028 - his only viable challenger would be Vance. It’s a win win.
But this toothless, “muh principles” approach does nothing but tear the party apart. Trump will be gone soon enough, and people like Massie will be in the ash bin next to Trey Gowdy and others who talk a lot without doing much.

Your purity will only be tolerated for so long if you can’t manage to win elections. It’s really that simple.
Every republican that wins elections pretends to be a conservative. They only expose themselves as big government neocons after they are elected.
The only election neocons have ever won while running as neocons was in 2004.

You are the threat because you use stupid excuses like this to destroy liberty and limited government.

You were pushing DEI just a few years ago. I remember having to explain to you what meritocracy was because you're just an ignorant human being in general.
My culture has never been threatened, only my liberty - by people like you who think the government needs to decide which culture people are allowed to have.

Don’t piss on my leg. The current Republican power base is unrecognizable from neo-conservatism. Neo-conservatives loathe Trump.
And if elections won is the measure of success, show me the political wins of uncompromising self-aggrandizing conservative puritans.
We’d all have a lot more respect for someone like Massie if he used his political power more than he used his social media accounts. People are tired of the talk. It’s what separates Ron from Massie… a man of action versus a man of words.

No, neoconservatives hate Trump when he was campaigning, they love him in office. They praise him constantly, Trump praises them constantly, and generally they all serve Israel.
Election Trump was going to end wars, the neocons hated that. President Trump is constantly carrying out attacks. Not to mention the huge increase in payouts to the MIC.
All these wars and spending Trump is starting and carrying out are right up the neocon ally. So is the increase in government spending, the increase in the police state, and so on. Meanwhile Trump is constantly attacking the most conservative members of congress.
Do you even know what a neocon is?
You don't respect Massie because Trump and the big government neocons told you not too.
And why?
Because he voted against and was critical of the BBB and the huge amount of government spending increase and debt.
Because he spoke out against starting more wars and attacking Iran on behalf of a foreign nation.
Because he pushed for the Epstein files to be released even while Trump claimed it was a hoax to protect the pedophiles that serve Israel.
In short, he gets attacked because he doesn't serve the MIC and Israel and actually serves the people.
If you think Massie is the problem, then exactly what the frick are your goals?
It seems to me the biggest reason you all hate Massie is because his votes and actions point out that the GOP doesn't actually care about conservatives and conservative issues.

I thought these two were Federalists/ Whigs with Clay's American System built off of the ideals of Hamilton? I could be wrong though, parties came and went and merged so much back then.
Always had a 2 party system
Federalist - based on over 80 writings in a paper of the the day. There were no "Federalist Papers" as that is a more modern interpretation. In my book you should be able to cite as least half (say 40+) to call yourself a Federalist. Today those calling themselves such are cherrypicking just 2 to 4 of the actual articles. Landed Gentry + Bankers + folks with power and money. Today you could trace them to the modern Billionaire Class. They wanted a system early Mericans had fled which was more a Monarchy with Kings and Primogeniture (first male inherits all real property, and other males or females can inherit chattel at best)
Democratic - Republicans - Everybody else including farmers, craftsmen, merchants, etc (excluding women and Africans with no rights). They wanted a system where your worth was determined ed by hard work and achievement. Oddly it was Henry Clay who began the transition. His birth father was well respected but quite poor to a loyal and hardworking person. When he passed, the wife married money the second time around. Henry Clay began the transition here but hit light speed when he married the daughter of one of the wealthiest American and Kentucky families.
Next phase of 2 party system
Whigs = Federalist + some Democratic Republicans like Clay
Democrats = Remains of party split by the Whigs
Next phase of 2 party system
Republicans = till around Regan election in 1980
Democrats = till around the election in 2000
Next phase of 2 party system
Republicans = Current, but classed a for Billionaires and marketed to working class
Democrats = Current, middle class white folks who were probably in a Fraternity / Sorority in college and this is where they landed as an adult
Neither party has the slightest clue to actually work for the average taxpaying citizens but they blame the other party and stay in power while pillaging the country.

With the statement in BOLD you win the internet for today. I am an old IKE guy, nobody today calling themselves a Republican seem to know what that actually means. The worst offenders are those calling others RINO's when they have no clue they are the actual RINO's.

Just an FYI, that's largely a function of our Single Member District (SMD) system. This is why the UK historically has 2 dominant parties also, but more pure parliamentary systems have more.

That all may very well be true, but you’ve managed to write a small novel while completely avoiding the point.
Can Massies ideas alone win elections? The answer is clearly no. Can Massie push for reform from within the party? Yes, but only if he can win. A conundrum he must wrestle with. Join the fight, take the wins in front of you, motivate the base, THEN push for more. We are finally turning the tables. Trump will have served his purpose and will be gone soon. Then what? Ask the Dems how a fractured party worked out for them. He’s putting all of that at risk.

They are the only thing that wins elections as I've pointed out multiple times now. Neoconservatives do not win elections, nobody really likes them. They are what gives the GOP a bad name over and over and how we ended up with someone like Obama.
Go back to the 2000 election. Bush didn't run on the neocon platform, he pretended to be a conservatives, said she like "no nation building". And then once in office he carries out the neocon agenda.
The difference between Massie and the others is he actually votes the way he campaigned. They want him gone so they can keep trying to claim the GOP is neocon marxism and that the only other choice is the marxism on the right. AKA both sides of the uniparty.
The people who fractured the democrat party are the people like you. Because they stomped on anyone and everyone who didn't go with the establishment party line. Trump and the neocons are the ones who are spending millions to get rid of the most conservative members of congress, and people like you ignorantly cheer for it and defend it.
I ain't fricking doing it. If you aren't pushing conservative issues, then you don't represent me and I don't give a frick what the "other side" is doing. That shite is for the ignorant, and I ain't the one.

I hadn't posted here for nearly 2 weeks until yesterday.
And you obviously only listened to the bullshite title and narrative the OP pushed rather than actually watching the video. Let me give you a hint - it wasn't the chairman the people were cheering for, maybe you should have listened to what he said when the chairman grabbed the mic.
Here's what actually happened.
Massie said: “If you are a congressman, you work not for the Speaker of the House, I work for you!”.
And that pissed the Speak of the House off and the speaker pulled the mic. Massie didn't say anything, just walked out and then went and spoke with people elsewhere.
But hey, tell me more about pushing lies and cheering for those who give false witness on a Sunday.

There has been the expected backlash to this move. Then the right will go too far, and then the left will get a backlash to that. .
Go too far in what manner? Its common sense. Thats not extreme. We are simply holding the line against woke nonsense. The left is firm in their push to go far left, which is a major threat. They aim to destroy our backlash. They want a system that is permanent woke. Your "both sides are bad, so let the woke commies win" take is juvenile.
