As a father, grandfather, and a human being, this is heart wrenching - all the innocent lives lost and the families destroyed. I’ve got to wake up, smell the coffee, and up my firepower that I pack at church. It would’ve taken head shots to take this clown down and I’ve only been carrying a 7 round Glock and extra mag. Gonna start going with an untucked casual shirt and large pistol with extra rounds. Things aren’t getting any better and there are a lot of hate-filled loons out there.

Talking head on Fox news just now just told about his service record ending with him being a logistical specialist, then she said. He was definitely trained to use a gun, I guess she meant a bar code scanner?

My uncle in law is a pastor of a church of this size in rural Tennessee and he told my wife 6 months ago that their insurance company was going to cancel their insurance policy if they didnt have enough members in the congregation carrying. Because of these types of things.
Lets go back a few months ago to Nashville. It is time for MEN to protect our way of life and our families and others families.

Will be a lot of church meetings this week addressing the problem I bet. I heard today that Ark. is one of the few states that allows guns in churches. Laws will have to be changed to allow CC to carry inside the church of hire professionals to do security.
What a screwed up world we live in to have to resort to guns for protection at church.
It's quickly becoming the pastor's responsibility to save lives first and souls second. Jeez.

It's the Air Force, 99.9% of them never even touch a gun.

This is the answer.
Do people think the pioneers left their weapons at home when they went to church?
Hell no. Americans became complacent after the Indians were moved out.

Yep. I was just thinking about how we carried our rifles and shotguns in plain view on gun racks AT SCHOOL when I was coming up. And an active shooter was a foreign term. It’s mind-boggling what’s changed in 35 years.

Growing up a white kid I never understood later in life when some black guys I worked with talked about ushers carrying guns in church.
This was in the mid 90's

Oh, I know, but they are trying to paint a different picture. I think their stupidity is dangerous.

It is a very small % that ever do more than basic familiarization.
This guy was supply clerk. Do you really think he had much weapons training?

That doesn't matter. I've never been in the military and I like millions of others could do this amount of damage or much worse.

i don't know about that fool, but to post 99.9% don't touch a gun is disingenuous.

It was a fricking chair force joke. Get over it.

That's not the point. I think it's dangerous to spread false information that all vets are highly trained fighting machines, because too many people believe it way too easily.
I served in both Army, and U.S.M.C.,I am not going to speculate about what I could do.
I think it is unfair to paint vets as dangerous. It can go the wrong direction for sure.
