Everything in commercials is the the opposite of reality. Everything.
All the scientists are women.
All the burglars are white.
Blacks/Whites % are about 80/20 when it should be the inverse.
The husband is the emotional/irrational one, the wife always the wise voice of reason.

The interracial angle irritates me probably more then it should. I don't have an issue with interracial marriage, I assume they made that life choice.
It would be better for society to show/ promote a black couple with kids than an interracial couple.

It seems like 75-80% of commercials feature at least 1 example of inter-racial marriages. Many also sneak in about 1-2 seconds of gay-lesbians interaction. Please - no lectures about how this is a true representation of American life. It's a thinly disguised (and devious) attempt to alter reality - from Madison Avenue.
