I would guess because it polls better than black husband and white wife with focus groups.
This it's less offensive to white men. The group they know are going to be doing the most spending. They virtue signal, but don't offend the core buying audience.

Ha!
Be grateful white men are allowed to enjoy themselves with a significant other.
According to advertising, I spend all of my time around kitchen appliances, cleaning products, detergents, and energy drinks for children.
Even when I use soap I’m more concerned with its moisturizing capabilities and rich fragrance, as opposed to my male counterparts who actually consider the novel soap concept of protection against germs.
I think you know the answer to your question: It starts with a “P-” and ends in “-andering.”

What our overlords think white men should aspire to

You wanna know what pisses a black woman off more than just about anything?
A black dude with a white woman.
A black dude with a white woman.

The female part is by far the most unbelievable part.

I've asked this too, why hardly no black man, white woman? It's very odd.
Posted on 1/25/21 at 11:04 pm to Oates Mustache
Cause black women hate that shite bro.

Blacks are less than 10% of the American population with some states having almost zero in them. Media advertising would have you think that the country is demographically proportional to Montgomery Alabama.
It's not the clear picture.

Why do you think this is?
OK...I've actually done a good bit of thinking about this topic (not specifically interracial couples, but generic SJ type commercials attempting to make some sort of societal point beyond plain old advertising.) See what you think.
I think it's pretty simple. Think of each company as an individual entity. Each one has its own advertising strategy. Each one has its own set of ads for TV, web, radio, etc. And there are literally thousands of companies. At this point, all companies either feel as though they have to make a societal/political statement, or they've been blackmailed into doing so. So you've got thousands of potential advertisers all working up their own version of some sort of SJW spot, and none of them can be left out.
What ends up happening, through no collusion because they don't necessarily want to look like everyone else's spots after all, is that they DO end up looking just like each other. It ends up being a contest each commercial break to see which national company can out "justice" the other.
I have no issue with any specific company simply featuring a couple that is interracial. I remember a few years ago when the first spot that came out got everyone all upset. It was a Cheerios spot featuring a black husband and a white wife and people freaked out. As a one off by itself it was fine, since NEVER seeing that in ads or TV or movies would feel strange. But what it started was a race to see how far you could go, and now it seems as if 60%+ of all couple are either interracial, same sex or some nonconforming set-up that looks like almost no one in America. Instead of one company doing it, they ALL do it. And since they can't have an infinite amount of ads for each variant, most are going with the more woke version, so the end result is a huge percentage of advertisers all feature the same woke stereotypes, and that sticks out even more than previously featuring none at all.

Someone has to take care of them and teach their children. Maybe this is the plan!

Just wondering why this particular pairing is so prevalent in TV ads.
Because Madison Ave was doing so many Black Man/White Woman ads that even John Q. Milquetoast eGOP noticed and went "Well, THAT'S getting pretty blatant". If an alien landed and judged America by its commercials, he'd have to conclude that 3/4's of our sexual pairings were black guy, white gal.
I've heard probably a dozen conversations in the past couple of years from family and friends who never previously mentioned such things. All of them started with something like "What's with all these ads, and why is it always a black man and white woman?". When normal people start talking about it en masse, your agenda is getting TOO obvious.
So Madison Ave had to change their pitching rotation up a bit. But one thing that wont change is that the white guy, whoever he's paired with, will look wimpy and kind of emasculated compared to the other men.

You would think 25-30% of marriages are multiracial or homosexual.

Good. Normally it's black guy/white girl commercials. Bout time the black girl/white guy combo gets some attention.

I’ve seen a few with gay women but they are both butch. Why can’t we have 2 lipstick lesbians in commercials? Might actually sell more product.
