“People should have the right to buy the kind of insurance they want at a price they can afford. Not everyone wants or needs the same kind of insurance,” Rubio said in his daily Facebook Live address.

Rubio also said he pushed for inclusion in the draft a plan that would offer people catastrophic coverage only.

“Why can’t you just insure against a serious illness or a bad accident but allow primary care or something else to either be covered by a separate but limited policy or through a health savings account or if you have enough money, out of pocket.”

EXACTLY! Marco just gets it. Buy whatever heath insurance plan you can afford even if it is a catastrophic coverage only. What is so hard to understand about that? Thank you Marco for using common sense!

If you purchase Cruz's subprime insurance, and you get sick, you will go bankrupt. You will be more likely to die.

That's not acceptable.

I didn't realize Ted Cruz was in the business of selling insurance? What's the name of his company?

This is the first step toward medicare for all you realize. I mean millions will buy this and then find out that it would have been better to have screenings and doctor visits and ER visits covered since it saves everyone money in the long run.

So I can't argue against this form of creeping socialism.

We don't need government to "allow" us to buy the plan we want. Get out of the way!

He's in the business of writing legislation - the two-tiered revisions in BCRA are his language. He admits this, McConnell admits this. Why are you trying to obfuscate it?

Luckily, as with most things, your belief does not impact reality.

We're simply liking the idea of returning to a health insurance plan with less government regulation. Everything the govt touches costs WAYYY too much and goes to shite. We have 100 years of proof of this and you have nothing to dispute this fact. I'm all for going back to health insurance pre-Obamacare, however at least give people an option to pay less for something g they don't use if they want. Why are you worried, you and your crew don't are riding free on our dime regardless!

So do you not understand the issue, or do you not care about your fellow Americans?

I do not care enough about people who don't take care themselves to cheat my family out of money in order to finance poverty, if that's what you're getting at! The only problem with healthcare and it's costs prior to Obamacare were 1. The fact that we can't deny people at the ER door, which I believe we should do and make law and 2. The price of the drug industry, which is simply a cost associated with the best drugs and research in the world. Now, stop relying on the govt to fix your problems and fix your own situations in life by making better decisions and teaching your kids to make better decisions themselves instead of indoctrinating them in excuse-hood!
