If term limits do that, then set them for the senate and house first

I'm fine with setting term limits for SCOTUS the second they set term limits for Congressmen.

18 for congress, maybe 30 for SC

Let's see a bill placing term limits on CONGRESS.

Is this an honest ploy “to restore public trust in our nation’s most powerful court.”, or to limit a President to only being able to replace 2 justices during their term? That way Trump can't replace Thomas, (will be 80 by the end of Trump's 2nd term), Roberts (73 after Trump's 2nd term) and Alito (78 after Trump's 2nd term); there by giving him 6 placed justices during both presidencies

I'd be down with this...only if they had term limits for all judges, house, and Senate members as well.

My thoughts exactly. Push term limits on yourself before pushing it on other branches.

Their understanding of co-equal is unprecedented,

Instead…do term limits for House & Senate

I'm not in favor of term limits for Scotus because then the cheating machine will manipulate when a Dem is elected vs Rep. I know it looks like 2 Rep justices will be stepping down within the next 4 years but Kamala was that bad of a candidate. I'd put Scotus at 30 year term and Congress at 20 year term if such thing was on the table.

Do congressional term limits first then we will talk
Posted on 12/9/24 at 11:57 am to USAFTiger42
It would politicize the SCOTUS just like it destroyed the Senate via 17th amendment.

Put it on yourselves in congress first you hypocrites. Amazing just how ridiculous some of these people are and the audacity they have to think they get to control everything for as long as they want.

I vote for Term Limits for you assclowns. I'm fine with Supreme Court Justices having lifetime appointments.
