Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort's attorney repeatedly spoke with the president's lawyers about discussions with federal investigators after Manafort agreed to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

That stuff happens all the time. Their lawyers can talk to each other. No restrictions.

Mueller's not going to indict trump, but he sure can (and probably will) devastate him politically.
How? He is already Hitler literally.
His "report" will be full of bits that can be pulled by the Democrats to use in anti-Trump ads. Just watch and wait.

If Manafort agreed to stop communicating with Trump then it's a violation. If Trump knew of that agreement but participated anyway then that's obstruction.
This was between lawyers.
Can a plea agreement stop lawyers from doing their jobs???

It proves that Giuliani wants you to think he is being provided info. He could also be lying, or (unlikely) mistaken. 4d chess mfers

Its not illegal, but the leak obviously has a bunch of NPCs running around saying its illegal. Did you find anything that said it was illegal, no they just "painted" the story that way and all the libs ran with it.

Mueller should be hung as a traitor and anyone who defends him should be hung beside him.

This is also why we should expect Trump to pardon Manafort. The danger for Trump here is obvious. I am confident Mueller knew that collaboration was happening, and probably knew which things Manafort was telling him were lies. Now if Trump structured his recent written answers to match Manafort's lying tales... look out.
So Rudy, who has been railing about Honest Bob’s pitbull’s unethical perjury traps for over a year is going to walk into one? You really might be the worst TDS poster on this board.

He also has state charges because what be did were actual crimes. Trump can't pardon state crimes. Manafort's going to die in jail.
All it takes is a Governor to pardon or a parole board to release......

its a touch more serious than that.
Mueller's game is to misrepresent scenarios to folks like Papadopolous. Mueller's knowing and duplicitous misrepresentation is designed to get honest people who feel they have nothing to hide to voluntarily sit with his team of legal thugs, and attempt to clear up misrepresentations Mueller is corruptly forwarding. The mistake is honest people assume Mueller is equally honest in seeking the truth. In actuality, Mueller and his team don't give a rat's arse about the truth.
So as cooperative parties try to set the record straight, assuming Mueller believes for a moment the crap he is accusing them of, Mueller is able to eventually catch them in an incidental misstatement which is then used to prosecute for perjury. It is prosecutorial overreach, and in a just world would put a POS like Mueller in criminal jeopardy himself. This is no just world though.
Given the circumstances, and the fact Mueller or his surrogates repeatedly leak lies and innuendos concerning witnesses, I have no problem whatsoever with opposition attorneys cooperating.
Do you?
If so, why?

This should keep Rex on the run for a while.
