I always thought the wall was just an analogy.

The wall can be immigration restrictions, tariffs and more border security.

And deportations.

That can be the Wall. Probably more effective.

No - she has been avidly for real control of illegal immigration.

Now, I'm not saying that Trump isn't doing all that he can to deliver the wall, but for him to crow about 'the wall is being built' is just not true - I have been searching for evidence that any part of a real wall has been constructed and cannot find it.

Can you link to a photo of any portion of wall that has been built - or is in the processs of being constructed??

Dude, that is one, single section of one of eight prototypes, all sitting at a facility located MILES from the border

Not one panel of any of them is sitting anywhere on the border.

You showed a prototype panel - There are several other prototypes being considered, and the one you showed is not even the one that is most likely to be selected.

There is not, to my knowledge, a single foot of wall being constructed anywhere.

Coulter is correct - we need the wall - and for Trump to tout that 'it is being built' is not only untrue, it is unhelpful in getting it stetted.

Of course, I don't play intergalactic underwater 7-d chess, so I am ripe for being fools-mated, i reckon.

I am open to that - but if that is the plan it is time to articulate it and get on with it -

If that is the plan then continued exclamations about the physical wall is detrimental - it is time for some clarity.

Now, I am in favor of a physical barrier supplemented by advanced detection and patrolling methods. The physical barrier is most important - unless it can be demonstrated that other methods are better. It would take more than simple declarations to convince me.

I have followed her for years and almost never disagree with her. Haven't kept up in the past several years as much as earlier.

But - given my confidence in her basic principles, I would automatically believe her unless someone presents some argument other than = "she is fukcing clueless.'

That kind of silliness is stupid beyond comprehension.

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen unveils a newly constructed section of the wall in October.

FWIW, Dems and NT's are now trying to win the "no-wall" narrative by calling the new construction a "fence". Of course, their MSM bootlickers are right there with them.

COMMENTARY: The fight against a border wall continues
BY STEFANIE HERWECK AND SCOTT NICOLS
March 27, 2018

Our fight to stop the border wall in the Rio Grande Valley just got harder.

Last week, Congress passed a budget bill that gives the Trump administration a billion and a half dollars for border walls, but does absolutely nothing to protect Dreamers.

The new law provides “$445,000,000 for 25 miles of primary pedestrian levee fencing along the southwest border in the Rio Grande Valley Sector,” according to the Omnibus bill language.

Ever since Hidalgo County Judge Ramon Garcia and McAllen Mayor Jim Darling last year wrote to the secretary of Homeland Security suggesting levee-border walls, the Trump administration has been pushing the idea of turning all of Hidalgo County’s existing Rio Grande levees into levee-border walls. In 2009, 22 miles of our levees were turned into levee-border walls, and the scheme Garcia and Darling promoted would have converted the remaining 28 miles. With the three miles of the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge in Alamo protected from a border wall, that leaves 25 miles, the exact amount in the bill.

Regardless of whether you call that a wall or a fence, it is simply a replacement for a stucture that has been in place in that location for almost thirty years. RT

That moniker is absolutely insane.

Illegal alien criminals are not "Dreamers".

What's next? Renaming pedophiles "pure lovers"?

Nielsen is literally standing in front of a two mile extension of new wall in the picture you're denying. It's also a bit ironic that you're citing "Russia Today" as your anti-Trump news source.

mere replacement wall - not new - like al gore saying he invented the internet

BTW: see that offset high section to the right behind fat broad. In less time that it takes to read this thread I'd be (doing a lay back - below) standing upright on top, step over and back to the ground. Hands might get a little dirty. Might not even break a sweat unless in a rush. (just one of many ways - others not climbing moves)
