I believe they had enough wire at their disposal for 150 miles of coverage if they needed it. We know they laid at least 20miles worth.

Can that stuff be economically retrieved for re-use? or is it a one time deployment and has to be trashed when it's mission is ended??
Seems like toothpaste to me - hard to put back in the tube.
