Dude I live in a voter ID state and have voted with ID every time as far back as I can remember.

Dude, there are zero legitimate reasons to be against voter ID laws.

Dude, there are zero legitimate reasons to list voter ID laws included in any bill as the deal breaker.

But again, that's not the point at hand. You still haven't demonstrated any understanding of how anything works and why your "self own" post made no sense

It's pretty simple. Elementary actually. There was a pitiful attempt at a gotcha... and then it was pointed out that the dems voted lockstep to not circumvent what the attempted gotcha was.

Then it was YOU guys who threw the voter ID in the bill as why it didn't pass. Even going as far as adopting the BS phrase of a "poison pill" just like they wanted you guys to. It had the exact effect they wanted. It's so easy for them.

Meanwhile.... I have continually asked why there is lockstep opposition from the left to voter ID because of the asinine excuse of it "being a burden on the poor".... but there is zero opposition for an ID to get services FOR the poor. That seems to be somewhat of a paradox that the drones are just told to ignore.

It's sad that in the current environment, $490 million is chump change.

Who is you guys?

Democrats did no such thing, FWIW.

House and Senate Republicans attached the Voter ID Act provisions to the unrelated stock-trading ban bill.

the budgets of the departments losing money to fraud …. should be reduced each year by the amount of the fraud found.

It is pretty clear to me that if we are funding not only those in need but also those stealing, we are paying too much in taxes. We pay so much in taxes that the government cannot effectively monitor the money.

It is PAST TIME to start cutting these programs and consider their termination. Smaller Federal government is what I voted for.
