When it comes to John Tesar, the real story seems to be a moving target. His sudden departure from The Mansion, in January 2009, after a little more than two years at the helm, spawned rumors about tantrums in the kitchen, pan throwing, sleeping with socialites, and day drinking.

What's his OT user name?

I did my part to help out. Wife and I were in Maine last week on vacation, so we supported their tourism industry, AND we got our fill of lobster while we were there.

Went to Maine, NH, and VT. Fall colors were amazing. Cooler temps and scored big brownie points with wife.

tourist customer - "i came here for the great food and want a maine lobster"

waiter - "sorry sir we dont have local seafood here, the owner is a snowflake and buys less tasty not as good lobsters from out side the state now, but we still charge $30 a piece for them"

I googled Jon Tesar and looks like he owns a series of restaurants in and around Dallas called Knife. I won't be dining there on my next visit to Dallas. For those of you that live there, boycott and flood his social media accounts.

See how this all works Mr. Tesar, you dumbass???

My buddy actually took his honeymoon last week there?

It was beautiful weather and he wanted to check out our rich history by going to the Salem witch trials and visit the early architecture of the 17th century.

I really just wanted to know if the seafood was good

Maine is 1 of 4 states left that I haven't been to. I would like to check it out.

He should have not been importing Maine Lobsters from Maine in the first place. Maine Lobsters from the grocery stores in Texas are just as good. People forget how many resources are needed to transport food across the country. Buy local.

OK, everybody is saying they like Maine and it's 'beautiful.' That's not very specific. I like Cancun.
Let's get specific:

It's got nice white sand beaches.
The water is a helluva lot warmer than the north Atlantic.
We took day tours to Mayan ruins and snorkeling at Shell Ha (sp).
The food is great (not Tex Mex).
It's a very short plane ride from La. across the Gulf.

What's so great about Maine other than 'it's nice'?

It's one of the most beautiful states I've visited. It has rugged ocean shoreline and beautiful mountain scenery. The fall foliage is incredible. Lobster rolls... lots of hiking trails...great fishing...

Get away from the cities in the north east and it is beautiful. Great hunting and fishing. I lived in Upstate New York when I was a kid and it is gorgeous.

I've seen DIM voters. Very few tend to order from the 'lobster' options on the menu. I think Maine will be OK

And if the lobster industry in Maine is 'reeling' from Chinese tariffs, womansplain to me about their crawfish policy, cuz its the exact opposite here in La
