with RFK2 on the ballot and 4 years of Biden insanity, Trump should be able to flip Maine IMO.
He lost it by 9% but way closer in 2016 and Trump didn't really campaign there in 2020 except for that one EV.

Ironically, Mexico itself is becoming a more attractive retirement destination than many parts of the United States. I have some MAGA neighbours here in Portland that spend more time in Punta De Mita than they do in Oregon.

Had a kid in college up there, so I used to go a lot. Great state, even in the cities like Portland which was clean, fixed up and had some great restaurants and bars. Went back last year, and Portland has declined. For the first time, I saw homeless encampments. And a bunch of third worlders walking the streets. It a real shame what that Dem governor is doing up there.

New Hampshire is where it's at up there anyway...for now. We bought some property there last year, but haven't decided if we want to build on it yet. Depends how many people decide to move there with what's going on in neighboring states.

The problem with these states is that they are getting their asses kicked economically and socially. Nobody wants to live there, and they are losing their tax base, this is all a move of desperation.

Maine has been an economic basket case for years, if not decades, and bringing in a bunch of illegals given free housing won’t fix this.
They going to rebuild the shipbuilding industry off them? Maybe they should be hiring the Cubans sailing into Florida instead.
