It's definitely more because it's you than Maher.

Thanks for posting. Great vid. Never had heard of this Noir guy but I like him (badass last name too).

Maher is one of the last liberals I have respect for. He's still tolerant of diverse viewpoints and you can tell he actually listens and attempts to understand.

He is a very different brother - I would categorize him more right-leaning libertarian than traditional conservative (NTTAWWT), which is probably why he and Maher get along from a philosophical level.

And, as wrong as Maher is on guns, he is still one of the increasingly fewer on the left who is fighting against speech codes, censorship, hurt feelings, the whole intersectional victim parade.

Tbird - is there any sort of effort on the part of any of these cats to network or develop some sort of unified voice?

I knew this sort of dissent was there, but didn't really discover the specifics of it until late, late in the Obama administration.

And for the record, Amazing Lucas has to be on something - cat produces content every 6 minutes or so, is jacked and never looks tired, down, frustrated, etc.

That cat is a winner, but he must have some sort of help, right?

I've watched ton's of his videos, and it wasn't until this one that I realized his name was Colion, not Collin.

Definitely worth five minutes of anyone's time, regardless of where one might fall in the "gun rights" landscape.

Enjoyed that. Thanks. I'm sure Noir would like to have one or two moments back...such as the "arming teachers" discussion. I'm pretty sure that, like me, Noir isn't supporting arming all teachers regardless of capability or desire, but is supportive of allowing teachers with capability and desire to be armed if they choose.

One thing I never understood about Noir is "C Noir" isn't even his real name.

But he goes on TV and Joe Rogan etc all the time. Any reason why he hasn't just gone back to his real name?

The 800 lb. Gorilla in the corner says " criminals will always be able to get guns of any kind they want through the black market, so law abiding individuals need to have the same fire power to protect themselves. "

While mostly respectful Maher still shows his ignorance (at least he admits being somewhat ignorant) by hitting all the talking point boogeymen.

Gun shows have 100% background checks. The only place where background checks are not performed is private transactions which account for an extremely small % of transactions. Plus take into account private transactions that require shipping the firearm and you end up with a background check.

there are no factual arguments. The Constitution specifically says "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Colion does, Maher not so much. Gun-control advocates, no matter their style, labor from a base of ignorance and dishonesty. You can almost see the internal struggle Colion has trying not to laugh at the some of the predictable talking points Maher would bring up.

I can't watch anything with Maher in it. It's the equivalent of giving Michael Moore a legitimate platform. He's that nuts.

I freaking love Colion Noir. He definitely held his own against Maher and Maher usually just tries to run roughshod over people.

I suspect it is a stage name. A Black guy named Noir would be a bit too coincidental for me.

EDIT: Collins Iyare Idehen Jr. His parents were immigrants from Nigeria. Noir was born, raised and educated in Houston.
